I’m not kidding when you gave a definition of religion being “people getting stuck where God used to be” and then explained that more, you blew my mind. I legit got chills. I’ve never heard that before but it makes so much sense.

Amen Natalia. Honestly we need more people on social media to do what she’s doing rn. It’s so refreshing to see God working through people. And her testimony is so amazing that you know it’s God who really turned it all around for her and for many others. Truly amazing.

I needed to hear all this. I was baptized when I was 17 because I let god into my heart and I felt him and knew him in an intimate way and I’ve strayed so far from that. In the last 2 to 3 years I’ve even began to think maybe god is not real and what I believed in so strongly is false but deep down I know that’s not right because when god touches you you’re never lost again. Thanks.

Have zero interest in God, but NT I am so genuinely so delighted for you that you now feel like you can use KZbin as a space where you can inspire and show your true self and passion, as opposed to requiring the income and so, being constrained. I found on my own spiritual journey (non-religious) that God shows up when you start to desire a relationship and having a genuine curiosity. The true nature of God (from my own experience) doesn't force itself on people. Religion really distorts a lot when it comes to having a relationship with God. When you feel ready to experience God, it's really as simple as just being open with your intent and having a curiosity for it. :) Wishing you all the best on your journey. ♥

Natalia, I’ve been watching you for a few years now. I finally around November 2nd started getting clean, am also finally 79 days clean from self-harm. Yesterday was also my 111 days sober time (2/21/23) I have been soul searching for a long time and have finally been slowly getting back on track with my physical well being and my mental well being and finding spirituality in my life. This video was just something I saw and thought I’d watch for some insight and it definitely has opened my mind up even more. Thank you for showing me that I’m being looked over and I hope I can open up even more to the ideas of spirituality and god. Thank you💛

If this is going to be regular content from you I suggest doing a video explaining conviction vs condemnation. When I was a new Christian I was so confused about convictions and felt bad when I knew people didn't do things like celebrate Halloween, or drink wine, and so on but I still did. When I read Romans it made a lot more sense why we all have different convictions. I think that it would be interesting to hear your take on that. 🙂

It’s been a while since I’ve watch one of your videos and this one caught my attention. I always felt as though I was never a Christian type of person. As a child I was brought into the church and was taught about God. As a kid I naturally walked in his spirit without thinking too much about it, it was just apart of who I was. Throughout my life I got baptized twice. When it comes to God I always say I’m not a Christian but I have a relationship with Him. Sometimes I feel bad for saying that or feeling that way. For me it’s like I never gravitated towards the Christian life. I’m more a spiritual person, I believe in or open minded to so much. I always found myself struggling with the commandments, statues and ordinances because I guess I was thinking it of it as STRICT rules and regulations that my damaged flesh didn’t want to follow or was intimidated by. Not only that but I guess I was unknowingly going about it from a religious standpoint. And being a lone wolf resonates and the words “you could’ve been dead”. LITERALLY today or the day before I was thinking about how I could’ve or should’ve been dead and yet I’m still here through the grace of God. Overall, I’m just trying to strengthen and rebuild my relationship with Him. So much trauma from mental, emotional, sexual, physical and verbal abuse took me from Him. But I’ve been finding my way back and man has he been good to me. Things aren’t perfect but they’re so much better than before and I’m grateful for it.❤ Really loved this video it made me look at things from a different perspective.

Personally I’ve always told people I’m spiritual, not religious. I believe in God and I have a relationship with God, but I’m not religious. My family raised me Catholic and they are very religious, they specifically strongly believe in going to Church as a way to build your relationship with God and build community. In my opinion, religion and spirituality is actually deeply personal and an individualized experience that’s unique to everyone which is why for myself I don’t find going to Church and “being apart of the community” something that appeals to me. There are also plenty of things that religions as human institutions have done that I just don’t agree with, but that has nothing to do with me wanting to believe in God / having a relationship with God. Thanks for talking about the deference here. I think many people don’t realize there’s a difference!

Thank you for this video. I usually never comment on videos, but your testimony started playing when I was away from my computer. Then this one played after, and I think that I needed to hear your experience to know that I am not alone. My family and extended family have attended church my whole life, but I had terrible experiences with people and the environment when I went. I would have panic attacks whenever I attended or even walked into a church. I have a relationship with God, and I'm constantly working on it, but I don't feel the need to go to church because, to me, going to church isn't to work on your relationship with him anymore; it has turned into proving to other people that they are who they claim to be. (I don't know if that made sense)

Our dad baptized us straight away because he thought we were going to die. We were so small that his wedding ring could slip all the way up our leg to our hip. We should have died but God saved us. I'm so happy to be on this new channel shift with you 😊 I will say that by the real definition of religion, Christianity is a religion and the religious aspects of our relationship with God is important! It's sad that "religious" has a huge (exactly as you said) misconception and negative connotation. I only follow Jesus and Biblical truth.. and that is still a religion. I unfortunately have to share the label "Christianity" with a ton of people who don't believe even close to the things I hold to be true, but I still wear the term "Christ follower" proudly!

Hey NT! I've been following your journey for years! Thanks for being so open. I also wanted to expand on what you were saying and maybe back it up with a few verses from the bible and give my understanding of it all. All God really wants is a relationship with you forever. He wants you to know him deeply and make time for him as you would a beloved parent/best friend/partner/whoever you hold dear and spend time with getting to know continually. He also wants to ensure once you know him and you foster and care for the relationship routinely through reading your bible/praying/etc, he can continue the relationship once your physical body has ceased on earth. He ensured this could happen through sending his one and only Son, Jesus to take the burden of all our wrongdoings as long as we believe that he did this for us and ask for forgiveness. The 10 Commandments were in the Old Testament of the Bible for the people to follow so that the separation could be bridged between God and his followers that was originally caused because of sin. You are right in saying that the 10 Commandments are no longer required to be followed for us to have a relationship with God or for the separation to be bridged as long as you believe that Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice and died for your sins. John 14:6 says "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you do have relationship with God and believe he sent his son to die for your sins, because of this relationship, belief and understanding of this ultimate sacrifice to save his creation, you will want to follow the 10 Commandments and try not to do the wrong thing to the very best of your ability (I could go into the 10 Commandments and what they mean and how commandment 4 was taken a bit too far and Jesus reeled it back but I'd have to break down each one and this would be too long!). As we are born into a sinful world, it is impossible for us not to sin and therefore we may actually go against the 10 Commandments and indeed sin. The difference now compared to in the Old Testament, is that if we ask for forgiveness for those wrongdoings, we can be saved through Jesus' sacrifice in suffering and dying for our relationship to be repaired with God. Ephesians 2:8-9 says "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." God also gave us the free will to decide if we want to believe that he is the creator and that he sent Jesus to die for us to have an eternal relationship with him. The bible also doesn't say we must go to church to have a relationship with God. There are many instances where people have been hurt by the church or the people of the church, cannot get to church because of shift-work and many other reasons. If you do go to church though, it has the potential to be encouraging just as every community has the potential to be when likeminded people regularly meet. In saying that, it also has the potential to be dangerous when Jesus is not at the centre of everything that church or community does. In Colossians 1:18 it says, "He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything." I hope this makes sense! I am not usually one to comment on videos but I felt compelled to maybe explain how I understand it with supporting verses from the bible. I am not an expert and I also don't pray or read my bible as much as I should so please know I am definitely not trying to be up on a high horse preaching that I do all of these things. If anything, writing this comment has made me realise how much more time I should be putting into the relationship between myself and God. I also wanted to ask how you know that the messages from God are for people watching your videos and not for you? Sending love!

Going to a religious school was very frustrating for me because for what I understood, faith shouldve been about love. I didn’t understand why there was hate towards the lgbt+ community etc. I felt they were so stuck in the literal things from thousands of years ago, rather than the message/morals.

Could you do a video explaining how you pray? Do you say your own prayers or the prayers from the book and also if it is out loud or not, how long and at what parts of the day, when you get up and everything, I reeeally enjoy all of this new dimensions of your videos, I love to listen about Jesus and God and from the very first time you mentioned it in your past videos I just wanted more, I've been a subscriber for years and you cannot even imagine how much you and your stories affected me and my will to work on my relationship with God

So glad that you're free to be truly yourself and make whatever content you want to 😊! It was a brave move to put out a video like this and I want you to know how grateful I am that you did 💜. I've been going through the religion vs. relationship journey for awhile now while working through some religious trauma and this was exactly the video I needed at this point. I'm definitely sticking around for your future videos! Thank you, this video was for me 💗

So the childhood vs now meme reversed reminds me of how I used to see life before Jesus vs how life looks now. Ive actually been thinking about this a lot lately. Life before Christ was so dull and lackluster and after everything has been so vibrant. I used to be a witch/new ager and had an encounter with God nearly two years ago(March 22,2021) I was a deeply depressed/suicidal and I literally heard his voice say “I have work for you to do.” I never felt more loved or seen and said I’ll do whatever I have to to stay in your presence Lord and accepted Jesus, threw away all my witchcraft stuff/renounced it, quit sex work, and it’s been night and day. I’m still figuring stuff out but I’m so eager to share my testimony. I want to eventually film it and share it on here because it’s a lot.. lol For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5

Thank you for this video, Natalia. I’m all for the new content that you want to make. And I’ve never felt like you were pushing your faith on anybody. You’ve always been clear about that. And you’ve always been very loving and open and non-judgmental when talking about your faith. And I really appreciate it, because unfortunately there are a lot of Christians influencers and just Christians in regular life who are very judgmental and hateful. I’m a Christian myself and other Christians like that have tried to tell me I don’t really know Jesus simply because I disagree with them or I’m just not the same as they are. So hearing you talk about faith and a real relationship with Jesus is very soothing and helpful for me and I really appreciate it. I’m excited for more of your content and I wish you all the best.

So crazy. My mom was just showing me pictures of these beautiful full rainbows (a complete half circle, just like the photo you show in this video) that were taken in the city I live in just a couple days ago (Huntington Beach, CA). I’ve also met you before Natalia at Whole Foods in HB when you lived here! Of all the messages in this video, when I saw the rainbow I got chills. It’s funny because it’s so random too! Thank you! 🙏🥰🌈

Awesome video, and so true that church is not exclusive with having a relationship with God. I left religion many years ago and never looked back. I don't consider myself Christian or identify with any religion anymore. The religious actually left me with a lot of religious trauma I'm still working to heal from. It was only when I left the church that I started to get in tune with my spirit and discover God's true nature. I could never go back to a life under religion. We're all on our own journey, religious or non-religious and when it comes to our path to connecting with God, one size does not fit all. Under religion I felt Christians really tried to hammer into people that there's only one way to do things, and they combine that with a whole lot of fear mongering and I just don't think that's accurate at all to God's true nature, nor is a lot of the Bible. There are many different paths to discovering and having a relationship with God. We just gotta find the way that works best for us in our own spiritual journey.

Natalia, I'm of a different faith, but I found your topic very insightful. I live my religion everyday, and I have an open connection with my higher power. (Great Spirit, Creator, it has many names.) So your video really resonated with me. I agree with you: Religion should not feel like a jail sentence. When my dad was dying, I would take him to church (he was a Roman Catholic.) One of the times I was there, I had a Christ encounter. He told me, "We're cool. You are on a good path." It felt really good, like an affirmation that I'm on the right Path for me. I think we are going to see more and more people leave the church in favor of a more personal way of worship. So, even though I'm of a different faith, I'm going to stick around, because I like you. I loved your videos from before, but I like YOU. If there comes a time when your videos don't resonate with me or become offensive to me (I doubt that will happen,) then I will move on. That's life! Blessings.

It’s so great to see this side of you! It was always shining through but it’s so great to see you free. I am not religious either but I believe in god/universal love, god is love, we are all connected. The world needs people like you to spread joy and love like this. Youth needs this. Using this platform for such good is such a hopeful sign to see in the world these days. Thank you.
