I’m not kidding when you gave a definition of religion being “people getting stuck where God used to be” and then explained that more, you blew my mind. I legit got chills. I’ve never heard that before but it makes so much sense.

I needed to hear all this. I was baptized when I was 17 because I let god into my heart and I felt him and knew him in an intimate way and I’ve strayed so far from that. In the last 2 to 3 years I’ve even began to think maybe god is not real and what I believed in so strongly is false but deep down I know that’s not right because when god touches you you’re never lost again. Thanks.

I found on my own spiritual journey (non-religious) that God shows up when you start to desire a relationship and having a genuine curiosity. The true nature of God (from my own experience) doesn't force itself on people. Religion really distorts a lot when it comes to having a relationship with God. When you feel ready to experience God, it's really as simple as just being open with your intent and having a curiosity for it. :) Wishing you all the best on your journey. ♥

Yesterday was also my 111 days sober time (2/21/23) I have been soul searching for a long time and have finally been slowly getting back on track with my physical well being and my mental well being and finding spirituality in my life. This video was just something I saw and thought I’d watch for some insight and it definitely has opened my mind up even more. Thank you for showing me that I’m being looked over and I hope I can open up even more to the ideas of spirituality and god. Thank you💛

😍 keep posting content like this please. I’m 23 and I medically passed away twice this fall. (Flatlined). God told me he brought me back to life and that it was the old me who died in the hospital-the me that all the past trauma happened to. He said now I’m the person I was supposed to be :) So now I get to live a fresh start and plan to wait till marriage to have sex again and am no longer attracted to toxic people❤ God will change your life. I had a podcast, and after I died of sepsis/pneumonia then Covid , I archived a lot of episodes & storytimes bc I didn’t want to condone wild/crazy sinful behavior anymore. If this is going to be regular content from you I suggest doing a video explaining conviction vs condemnation. When I was a new Christian I was so confused about convictions and felt bad when I knew people didn't do things like celebrate Halloween, or drink wine, and so on but I still did. When I read Romans it made a lot more sense why we all have different convictions. I think that it would be interesting to hear your take on that. 🙂

Personally I’ve always told people I’m spiritual, not religious. I believe in God and I have a relationship with God, but I’m not religious. My family raised me Catholic and they are very religious, they specifically strongly believe in going to Church as a way to build your relationship with God and build community. In my opinion, religion and spirituality is actually deeply personal and an individualized experience that’s unique to everyone which is why for myself I don’t find going to Church and “being apart of the community” something that appeals to me. There are also plenty of things that religions as human institutions have done that I just don’t agree with, but that has nothing to do with me wanting to believe in God / having a relationship with God. Thanks for talking about the deference here. I think many people don’t realize there’s a difference!

Hi, I wanted to respond to this because I have struggled with the same things as you have mentioned. In the darkest of dark, I asked God if he wanted to show Himself to me if He actually did exist. I was helpless. I want to encourage you to try the same, if you long for a relationship with God.🌿 You are seen in your pain by Him. He knows how you have suffered. Its hard to overcome trauma, but He heals all wounds. Its not easy but its possible through faith! I pray for healing and restoration in your life. And that you may encounter and experience the boldness of His spirit in Jesus name, Amen!

It’s been a while since I’ve watch one of your videos and this one caught my attention. I always felt as though I was never a Christian type of person. As a child I was brought into the church and was taught about God. As a kid I naturally walked in his spirit without thinking too much about it, it was just apart of who I was. Throughout my life I got baptized twice. When it comes to God I always say I’m not a Christian but I have a relationship with Him. Sometimes I feel bad for saying that or feeling that way. For me it’s like I never gravitated towards the Christian life. I’m more a spiritual person, I believe in or open minded to so much. I always found myself struggling with the commandments, statues and ordinances because I guess I was thinking it of it as STRICT rules and regulations that my damaged flesh didn’t want to follow or was intimidated by. Not only that but I guess I was unknowingly going about it from a religious standpoint. And being a lone wolf resonates and the words “you could’ve been dead”. LITERALLY today or the day before I was thinking about how I could’ve or should’ve been dead and yet I’m still here through the grace of God. Overall, I’m just trying to strengthen and rebuild my relationship with Him. So much trauma from mental, emotional, sexual, physical and verbal abuse took me from Him. But I’ve been finding my way back and man has he been good to me. Things aren’t perfect but they’re so much better than before and I’m grateful for it.❤ Really loved this video it made me look at things from a different perspective.

I think my life started as a God encounter. My 2 sisters (I'm a triplet) and we were born 3 months premature. My mom had to have a C section. Our dad baptized us straight away because he thought we were going to die. We were so small that his wedding ring could slip all the way up our leg to our hip. We should have died but God saved us. I was taught by my dad (who is a pastor) that the commandments are a way to live our life to thank God for all he's done God bless Natalia love you and thank you

So the childhood vs now meme reversed reminds me of how I used to see life before Jesus vs how life looks now. Ive actually been thinking about this a lot lately. Life before Christ was so dull and lackluster and after everything has been so vibrant. I used to be a witch/new ager and had an encounter with God nearly two years ago(March 22,2021) I was a deeply depressed/suicidal and I literally heard his voice say “I have work for you to do.” I never felt more loved or seen and said I’ll do whatever I have to to stay in your presence Lord and accepted Jesus, threw away all my witchcraft stuff/renounced it, quit sex work, and it’s been night and day. I’m still figuring stuff out but I’m so eager to share my testimony. I want to eventually film it and share it on here because it’s a lot.. lol For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5

I'm so happy to be on this new channel shift with you 😊 I will say that by the real definition of religion, Christianity is a religion and the religious aspects of our relationship with God is important! It's sad that "religious" has a huge (exactly as you said) misconception and negative connotation. I only follow Jesus and Biblical truth.. and that is still a religion. I unfortunately have to share the label "Christianity" with a ton of people who don't believe even close to the things I hold to be true, but I still wear the term "Christ follower" proudly!

i appreciate your *boldness* so much. 🦁 freeing yourself from constricting rules includes content creation. 😁 at some point you just cannot break your back anymore to fit the prison cell. ⛓ sovereignty of one's own 💖 in alignment with god:dess. religion had me confused and wounded for a long time because of its harsh judgement of queer people. i never really believed it, but still questioned myself for so long. it's traumatic to be called sinners/lost/far from god/eternally burning in hell ... for just your identity, etc. something that is *not* a choice. being told otherwise doesn't help. until you're just done. you either give up or risk it all. if that means going to hell, so be it. *but* ... if you know jesus just *one bit* you know he does not care. he knows and loves us. he goes to the outcasts. he does not lead by judgement. he leads by *love.* so in that sense i'm happy about the rainbow image. 🌈✨

And I really appreciate it, because unfortunately there are a lot of Christians influencers and just Christians in regular life who are very judgmental and hateful. I’m a Christian myself and other Christians like that have tried to tell me I don’t really know Jesus simply because I disagree with them or I’m just not the same as they are. I have a relationship with God, and I'm constantly working on it, but I don't feel the need to go to church because, to me, going to church isn't to work on your relationship with him anymore; it has turned into proving to other people that they are who they claim to be. (I don't know if that made sense)

Thank you so much for this video! As we all get older we get out of that rebellious stage and seek God. That is where I’m at in life at least. I have been reading my Bible more, but haven’t come across these verses. Thank you for sharing and not being afraid to share what God has laid on your heart! Loving this new content!❤

I've been with God for as long as I can remember, but I do have two questions : how come in the Old Testament we have seen many crazy events like lava from the sky or separating the sea in two, but nothing like that has happened in recent times for those who don't believe? Maybe it's because, like you said, we have the holy spirit within us. And do you think we are reaching the last days? Just curious! Great video ❤️

I love your questions! To answer the first one- there are actually a lot of miracles happening in present day. I’ve witnessed a woman paralyzed from birth get out of her wheelchair and walk from the power of God. These phenomena are still happening, you just don’t always hear about it on social media. To answer your second question- Yes. The beginning of the last days started when Christ resurrected. However, I don’t believe popular theology about an apocalypse or mass rapture. Fun fact, the book of revelations never even says the word “rapture”. This is another common Christian belief that isn’t even in the Bible! My personal take is that God is moving his people to inherit his kingdom on earth, and one day we will be fully reunited with Christ. This is what the Bible says. Hope this helps!

The last message was relaeveant in a different way to the others that were just as important to me because it was only last night where I was thinking some deep stuff and thinking my old coping mechanisms might be worth starting again. I have been reminded now that as someone who has always had God in their life that he hasn't abandoned me and not only that m, he does want me to continue my relationship with him and turn to him.

natalia, i'm so glad you turned your life around and found peace through believing in a higher power. i'm agnostic, but i do believe there is an unnatural order in life that cannot be explained by science. however, claiming you aren't religious after living by Bible verses, praying to God, and attending church is very misleading to your audience. it may not be as trendy to admit, but you subscribe to Christian beliefs. there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but please don't do mental gymnastics trying to convice your audience you aren't religious. i believe everything you said in your video was meant with the best intentions, but it's always better to face and accept the truth than to try and appeal to others through falsehood.

hey! i’m a believer, & although i see where you’re coming from, i believe that when she’s says she’s in a relationship with God instead of being religious is that when you follow Christ it’s all about a friendship. when you follow Him & build a connection, it doesn’t feel like religion. people often view religion as rules & things to do in order to make it to paradise, but that’s not the case with Christianity. although Christianity is trivialized as a religion, at the core of it, it’s a friendship :)

Sigh. There's a difference between being religious which has to do with legalism, and relationship that is birthed from love and characterised by intimacy. She's not misleading or trying to appeal else she'd have kept on with the previous content. That's the point of what she was saying.

I think what you’re doing is beautiful !!! Great work! I think that you may accidentally mislead people by how often you talk about God instead of Jesus.. just remember this verse when doing your videos so you lead people to JESUS.. because they can’t have a relationship with God unless they go through Jesus. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

Hey NT! I've been following your journey for years! Thanks for being so open. I also wanted to expand on what you were saying and maybe back it up with a few verses from the bible and give my understanding of it all. All God really wants is a relationship with you forever. He wants you to know him deeply and make time for him as you would a beloved parent/best friend/partner/whoever you hold dear and spend time with getting to know continually. He also wants to ensure once you know him and you foster and care for the relationship routinely through reading your bible/praying/etc, he can continue the relationship once your physical body has ceased on earth. He ensured this could happen through sending his one and only Son, Jesus to take the burden of all our wrongdoings as long as we believe that he did this for us and ask for forgiveness. The 10 Commandments were in the Old Testament of the Bible for the people to follow so that the separation could be bridged between God and his followers that was originally caused because of sin. You are right in saying that the 10 Commandments are no longer required to be followed for us to have a relationship with God or for the separation to be bridged as long as you believe that Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice and died for your sins. John 14:6 says "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you do have relationship with God and believe he sent his son to die for your sins, because of this relationship, belief and understanding of this ultimate sacrifice to save his creation, you will want to follow the 10 Commandments and try not to do the wrong thing to the very best of your ability (I could go into the 10 Commandments and what they mean and how commandment 4 was taken a bit too far and Jesus reeled it back but I'd have to break down each one and this would be too long!). As we are born into a sinful world, it is impossible for us not to sin and therefore we may actually go against the 10 Commandments and indeed sin. The difference now compared to in the Old Testament, is that if we ask for forgiveness for those wrongdoings, we can be saved through Jesus' sacrifice in suffering and dying for our relationship to be repaired with God. Ephesians 2:8-9 says "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." God also gave us the free will to decide if we want to believe that he is the creator and that he sent Jesus to die for us to have an eternal relationship with him. The bible also doesn't say we must go to church to have a relationship with God. There are many instances where people have been hurt by the church or the people of the church, cannot get to church because of shift-work and many other reasons. If you do go to church though, it has the potential to be encouraging just as every community has the potential to be when likeminded people regularly meet. In saying that, it also has the potential to be dangerous when Jesus is not at the centre of everything that church or community does. In Colossians 1:18 it says, "He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything." I hope this makes sense! I am not usually one to comment on videos but I felt compelled to maybe explain how I understand it with supporting verses from the bible. I am not an expert and I also don't pray or read my bible as much as I should so please know I am definitely not trying to be up on a high horse preaching that I do all of these things. If anything, writing this comment has made me realise how much more time I should be putting into the relationship between myself and God. I also wanted to ask how you know that the messages from God are for people watching your videos and not for you? Sending love!

Awesome video, and so true that church is not exclusive with having a relationship with God. I left religion many years ago and never looked back. I don't consider myself Christian or identify with any religion anymore. The religious actually left me with a lot of religious trauma I'm still working to heal from. It was only when I left the church that I started to get in tune with my spirit and discover God's true nature. I could never go back to a life under religion. We're all on our own journey, religious or non-religious and when it comes to our path to connecting with God, one size does not fit all. Under religion I felt Christians really tried to hammer into people that there's only one way to do things, and they combine that with a whole lot of fear mongering and I just don't think that's accurate at all to God's true nature, nor is a lot of the Bible. There are many different paths to discovering and having a relationship with God. We just gotta find the way that works best for us in our own spiritual journey.
