Jesus Christ is the only way into Heaven. What we must understand is that in every religion in the world, you, a sinner has to do good works to get saved. It’s like if a man robs a bank and then he tells the judge he’s don’t lots of good after he robbed the bank. But the judge is gonna say ok, well that’s good but it doesn’t change the fact that you robbed the bank. You still have to receive your punishment. To God, our works are like a filthy rag. In all religions, you’re trying to save your self. In Christianity, God saves you. Threw His Grace and Mercy. It is a gift of God so no man can boast that he got himself into Heaven. Now of course, when Christ comes into your heart, you want to follow His words and do good deeds. But let’s remember that are good deeds don’t save us, The Grace of God saved us. And that is Jesus Christ. Now for my Muslim friends, Let me explain the trinity real quick since I know you guys think that Polytheism. The Father, The Son , and The Holy Spirit are one being. The Father is God. Right? The Son is the Word of God. The Holy Spirit is self explanatory, it’s the Spirit of God. Now I want you to ask yourself, can God not do anything He wants to do? If your voice, your word, became flesh, a human, would you not say that was your son? But wouldn’t at the same time, your word also be you? Listen, I’ll just make it simple for you guys. We can all have a personal relationship with God. Please, just pray to Him and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Amen

The best answers people gave here are variants of 'I do not know'. There is nothing written in the Hebrew Bible that describes/explains any form of afterlife. In Kohelet, it says "For that which befalls people befalls the beast, the same thing befalls them; as the one dies, so dies the other; they have the same breath; man has no advantage over the beast; for all is vanity. All go to one place, all return to the dust." As King David said while dying, "I go the way of all the earth".

@@iii___iii You say they are confused, they say you are confused, I say those who believe in god are all confused. Talmud though does have very intelligent debates on many issues, it is an intellectual exercise worthy of our respect. If you don't understand how Talmud is meant to be studied, you can't make blanket statements on it. In any case, the content of Torah itself leaves a lot of questions, this is why Talmud is *exploration of ideas* into these questions, i.e. not monotonous instruction.
@interestingyoutubechannel14 жыл бұрын
@@iii___iii The differing opinions you speak of, is its strength. Talmud offers a kind of catalyst for exploring ideas, based on the content in scripture. You say the Torah alone is very clear, if that was the case, you wouldn't have tens of thousands of Christian denominations arguing over every verse. Imo all Hebrew scripture, including Torah, is evidently written by many Israelite authors through different eras, hence the seeming contradictions and obscurities that Talmud tries to discuss. "not even the commentaries of the talmud are in agreement with one another" - that is exactly the point! It's not a book of instruction, for you to endlessly repeat like a braindead machine.. it's an anthology of dialectics, of debate between scribes of different eras, it's arguments, it's exploration of ideas.

I should add to that, many of the people who study in Yeshivas, don’t really learn how to think critically. In some ways it’s similar to the Madrasas. They spend vast amounts of time memorizing what different scholars said about various issues and pick and choose that which confirms their believes. Again, quite similar to most very religious people. The problem they run into though is when confronted with an issue they are unfamiliar with, they don’t have the ability work their way through it. There are exemptions of course, but their education is not teaching them how to understand and deal with the outside world. Or, for that matter, the real world we live in.

Russia is considering aggressive new surveillance methods as the country seeks to enforce mandatory shelter-in-place orders in cities including Moscow and St Petersburg and other regions across its 11 time zones. While the details of the new monitoring system have not been confirmed, official statements and leaked plans have indicated they could include mobile apps that track users’ location, CCTV cameras with facial recognition software, QR codes, mobile phone data and credit card records. The hastily developed patchwork to monitor individuals’ movements could tell authorities whether Russians had broken coronavirus lockdowns for reasons other than those allowed: seeking medical care, visiting the grocery store, the pharmacy, or traveling to an authorised job. Leaked plans indicate that parts of the system may go online this weekend. While there remain questions about whether the technology is viable, opposition politicians have warned that the government is laying the groundwork for a “cybergulag,” with a new system of enhanced surveillance that could remain active even after the current crisis passes.
@danieledelstein91294 жыл бұрын
Tbh as a Jew there's no genuine tradition of the afterlife.. different mystical and agaddic (non legalistic exegetical) texts, but nothing in codified Jewish ritual circulates around the afterlife. The Torah does not mention it, and in Tanakh generally the term "gahennah" (from which the rabbinical plural "gahhenim", in that context more akin to what Christians and Muslims would call "hell", derives) refers merely to an accursed valley for the abode of dead in Jerusalem. However, don't get me wrong. Genuine Jewish tradition definitely does believe in the afterlife; it isn't some arbitrary post biblical conjuration from rabbinic ideology (which itself does not have a Christianized idea of hell either). The concept is sort of self understood from scripture, just like God being incorporeal is (I mean if you're overly literalistic, biblical descriptions of God can be taken as depicting God as a physical being with hands, human emotions, a face, etc - but obviously it is metaphor and anthropopathism, which can be derived in numerous ways). Similarly, though not outrightly mentioned, the concept of a soul that transcends the physical body and continues after death is something one who reads scripture in good faith would derive from numerous cues, not to mention that it's a sort of self evident reality to the believer (just like, say, God being beyond time and space is self evident without being spelled out). What is the "image of God" man is created in? What is the "nefesh" (translated as "soul") that the Torah discusses? Why is the death penalty for certain transgressions necessary to "atone" (in biblical Hebrew, "kaparah," literally "cover") for a person? Why does Solomon in Ecclesiastes muse rhetorically about how we can be sure that the spirit of man goes "upwards" and the spirit of the beast goes "downwards" if not for a concept of post life continuity in the Israelite conscience? Not to mention more explicit reference to it in Daniel and Isaiah. I'm just saying there isn't really a canonized conception of what the afterlife is in the meticulous mannerisms of Christianity and Islam. There is a Rabbinic concept of "din v' 'heshbon" - "judgement and reckoning," and the concept of the soul having to be essentially purified through some form of purgatory. The thing is whereas legal decisions from the rabbis is binding because they're essentially the 'Supreme Court' of defining legalistic derivatives of Torah (them being a representative body of the Jewish nation and the sages of whom we are commanded to allow to adjure such issues), law is not a black and white absoluteness the way a metaphysical claim on the afterlife is. And there's a whole array of dispute of afterlife concepts, and they obviously can't all be right. Also if anything about genuine Jewish tradition holds, it's that biblical terminologies as well as Rabbinic aggadic passages are hardly ever completely literal. As aforementioned, Gahhenah was a valley in Jerusalem where ancient Canaanite pagan kings brought forth human sacrifices, which the later Israelite monotheists found abominable. You can be sure that no one actually thought all souls go to a physical hill on this earth. But presumably such a hill represented a concept of condemnation and damnation to whatever extent. Nearly all Jewish scholars, philosophers, mystics, etc don't view "Gan Eden" ("garden of Eden" / "heaven") and Gahennim ("hell") as literal concepts. Like, there isn't some soul floating around burning in a pit of fire. Souls are by definition metaphysical, as is the spiritual realm in general. We don't really have a genuine worldly conceptualization of the immaterial. I've heard the idea of Gan Eden essentially being an eternal and utmost bliss due to basking in the "ziv ha'shkhinah" , or "radiance of the Divine Prescence" (literally 'radiance of the Dwelling'). Contrastly, gahhenim is excruciatingly painful not in a literal physical way, but it is a human description to give a glimpse of a general concept, which is the deprivation and devastaton brought about from realizing the extent of one's transgressions, and the distancing from God which becomes completely clear and understood posthumously.
In 2014, the ultranationalist political organization Russian Imperial Movement (RIM) began training volunteers to fight alongside its paramilitary wing in eastern Ukraine, but the group has since expanded its operations to include global ambitions. According to the group’s spokesperson, RIM seeks to “continue to establish contacts with right-wing, traditionalist and conservative organizations around the world” in order “to share the experience of political [and] information warfare and joint squad tactics training.” Most prominently, RIM has worked alongside the Russian political party Rodina (also known as the Motherland-National Patriotic Union) to convene the World National-Conservative Movement (WNCM), a conference organized against the principles of “liberalism, multiculturalism and tolerance.” WNCM’s organizers, however, sought to move beyond ideological exchanges and establish “joint camps for military and athletic instruction.” Now, through its paramilitary arm Imperial Legion, RIM carries out weeklong military-style training sessions known as Partisan. Led by a former member of the Russian armed forces, this program teaches ‘cadets’ to operate firearms and move in tactical formation. In recent years, RIM’s terrorist training has proven deadly. Months before bombing a refugee center in Gothenburg, Sweden, the two perpetrators attended RIM’s Partisan training camp. According to the prosecutor handling the case, attendance at the “paramilitary camp in St. Petersburg was a key step in [the bombers’] radicalization” and it “may be the place where they learned to manufacture the bombs that they used in Gothenburg.” Both men had a history with the Nordic Resistance Movement (NRM), though it appears that each had moved on from the organization. Despite the fact that these Swedish terrorists split with NRM prior to their attack, the group has maintained its own troubling relationship with RIM. In 2015, a RIM leader traveled to Sweden to speak at a NRM-hosted event called “Nordic Days,” and RIM has reportedly provided very modest financial support to its Nordic allies. Notably, NRM operates a Russian-language page with more than 2,000 members on the social media platform VK, according to the investigative journalism outlet Hate Speech International. The November 2018 National Strategy for Counterterrorism of the United States lists the Nordic Resistance Movement as a “prominent transnational, self-described nationalist-socialist organization with anti-Western views,” that poses a threat, particularly to Europe, because of its propensity to use violence and its intent to destabilize societies. The relationship between the Nordic Resistance Movement and RIM reflects the transnational nature of right-wing extremism and acts as a reminder of how cross-border relationships can enhance the threat of terrorism. As political scientists Michael Horowitz and Philip Potter contend, cooperation and alliances between terrorist organizations increase group capacity. What, then, is the connection between RIM’s transnational activities and Putin’s desire to undermine Western democracy? According to Alexander Verkhovsky, director of the Moscow-based SOVA Center for Information and Analysis, Russian authorities knowingly tolerate RIM’s paramilitary camps. The Kremlin does not directly support RIM, but it does nothing to combat the group’s violent activities, despite knowledge of their operations. As former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Michael Carpenter characterized the situation, RIM’s paramilitary arm “operates freely” in Russia. The lack of counterterrorism pressure from domestic forces in Russia allows the organization to form alliances with extremists across Europe and the United States, enhancing the overall threat of right-wing extremism. Russian strategy plays into its tolerance for RIM in two different ways. First, the Kremlin has an incentive to turn a blind eye to the group because of RIM’s role in helping to recruit Russians to fight in eastern Ukraine (it’s worth noting, however, that the conflict has also attracted white supremacist foreign fighters to fight with Ukrainians against Russia). Second, and more importantly for Western security services, the decision to allow RIM to act with impunity aligns with Putin’s zero-sum worldview in which liberal democracy in the West threatens his authoritarian hold in Russia. By allowing violent, globally minded paramilitarism to take hold within Russia’s borders, the Kremlin facilitates the growth of right-wing extremism in Europe and the United States that exacerbates threats to the stability of democratic governments.

We all get judged by our deeds. The ones who did good and believed will have a comfort in grave. However, the ones who did evil in this life even if they were Muslims they will get punished in their graves. And every soul will be on standby and no one enters the heavens until the Judgement Day.

Fire has engulfed a penal colony in Siberia after a riot broke out - reportedly sparked by accusations of brutality. One inmate has been killed, regional officials said on Saturday, and another guard hospitalised. The body of the prisoner was discovered underneath debris after special forces retook control of the prison. “It was a violent death,” said Viktor Ignatenko, the regional human rights ombudsmen. It was not immediately clear whether the man died when authorities raided the prison late Friday night. Ignatenko said that authorities were investigating whether he had been killed by fellow inmates. Videos posted to social media on Friday showed buildings ablaze at the IK-15 prison in the Siberian city of Angarsk, 2,500 miles southeast of Moscow and near Lake Baikal’s southern shore Prisoners had earlier attacked a guard and began to cut themselves using pieces of broken glass from security cameras, according to the region’s prison service. Prisoners in Russia’s penal colonies sometimes perform acts of self-harm as an act of protest. The rioters, of whom there were an estimated 16 or 17, later set fire to workshops and barricaded themselves inside the prison’s work zone. Officers late on Friday evening claimed to have retaken the prison and were “evaluating the damage”. At least one guard was taken to hospital in the initial riot, but it was not clear how many were injured or killed when local special forces retook the prison. Human rights activists said that police had cordoned off the area. Videos sent to activists and posted to social media showed prisoners claiming to be trapped as special forces bore down on them. “They’re beating everyone, everyone is cut,” the prisoner said, indicating the bandages tied around his wounds. “The whole area is on fire.” “They’re going to kill us,” another says. An earlier video believed to have sparked the riot showed a prisoner with a bloodied bandage on his left arm accusing a guard of beating him. “The police are out of control - and not for the first time,” he said.

I thought at least Jews who follow the Torah (only) and (relationship with GOD) Christians believe the book of Genesis Chapter One. That we have been created in Elohim's image and likeness, therefore why would GOD be recycling people He created in His image into some animal or thing? In the beginning GOD created everything needed. GOD doesn't have to add more. GOD work six days and was finished. Then Elohim rested on the 7 day of mankind's existence.

Hey please read: I love how your channel provides real insights into the minds of the Jews in Israel. My major criticism of your channel and why your views have been going down is this: You dont put effort into follow up questions. Its that simple. In theory you are acting as a mediator but in reality you a journalist. Have a great follow up when you notice the conversation get interesting and this channel will flourish, especially in the Christian community. A perfect example was when you asked "why dont you believe Jesus is the messiah?" One jew replied why should I? A totally logical reply. If you had countered with Jesus was born in Bethlehem, born of a virgin, was pierced in his side, was sold for 30 pieces of silver (all in the old testament) then the convo would have been amazing material. But instead you just like giggles and said I dunno. It proved you dont really have a dog in the fight and or care for your loyal fan based (Christians) do some research man and this channel will thrive.
