I am using Maxx hop up, their metal numbs are the best. A side effect is I am forced to change my bucking more frequently. Like once a year. But no problem with sidespins etc.
@Relizu5 жыл бұрын
Metal nubs are a bit tougher on the buckings yes! They can also experience curving problems, but fortunately it's not very common :)

So if I have curving on a maxx hopup?
@magicundead583811 ай бұрын
@@redblue9577 Check if your nub is actually has even surface, maybe you need to file it a bit to even it out or check the pressure arm if it applies pressure on the nub evenly or nub doesn't get stuck anywhere while moving up and down.
@Kokkeman665 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Good explanation of probable causes. I think however you can add another cause, the position of the barrel. Some barrel & hop up chamber combinations have some slack -space to twist the barrel left or right- . If the barrel is twisted just a mm to the left or right, your nub will give more pressure to the side to where it's twisted. I noticed this with my mp5k. I could solve it by turning the barrel a bit to the opposite side.
@Relizu5 жыл бұрын
Yes, this is the case when the bucking is fixed to the barrel instead of to the chamber, such as in AEGs. It's not ideal if that happens, and it can indeed cause curving as well :)

VERY well done vid! I like your style of explaining how/why things happen. I'm new to airsoft; grew up with firearms, and did quite a bit of regular shooting on evenings and weekends (Phoenix) before moving to where I now reside (overseas), and where firearms ownership (including pellet air-rifles and air-soft guns) is incredibly restricted. So a few years ago, needing a pest control implement, I got an M24 Snow Wolf and started getting into airsoft. Culled some invasive groups of pigeons (ongoing) and get the occasional rat, so my concerns are mostly the FPS (yep!) and accuracy, usually within 30 meters. I'm looking to upgrade (in order) the barrel and hop-up, and then the cylinder, then the trigger assembly (I just replaced the whole trigger-box...smh...), and finally the spring. So before I start, I'm reviewing/saving LOTS of airsoft repair- and upgrade-vids. Seeing experienced folks, like you and a few others I've viewed lately, manipulate parts as they explain the function or the problem that is the topic, or, as you did, use graphic illustration to not only explain the function of, but also how to fabricate, parts, and to explain the effects of friction/contact/spin on trajectory, etc., really helps me grasp the 'mechanics' not only of the weapon (and all the similarities/variations in the different models) but of how the design actually incorporates and allows for the adjustment of that spin to create the desired trajectory. It makes my heart sink a bit as I shoot at my home-made target rack at 25 meters, and can actually see the BB start to drop. I'd like to get the FPS up to about 620+ and see how it goes. Thanks so much for creating and sharing such a clear, and easy -to-comprehend vid!

thanks! i was wondering why my gun is shooting left but the drawing you did with the nub being slightly at the wrong angle helped me tons. i now have a perfectly straight shooting gun :D

How did you solve it?
@Jasonblanny11 ай бұрын
@@anomalyp8584 tbh it's different for every single gun bro, try checking what angle your hop rubber nub is at and if it doesn't look even there's your issue.

i have cyma m24 with all airsoft pro upragades shootin 3joules 0.45bb but now i have air leak on piston and bucking im using mapleleaf macarov 80 degree and hop up unit is airsoft pro gen 2
@Relizu5 жыл бұрын
I'm not too experienced on AEGs, but 80 degrees sounds like a hard bucking... that being said, AEGs will never seal 100% because the nozzle retracts so it's all a bit less important there. As long as your fps consistency doesn't suffer ;)

What if you use a Prometheus bridge nub instead of the Maple leaf?
@Relizu5 жыл бұрын
The same applies ;) However, that nub is not recommended with maple leaf buckings.

Thanks man! I'm owner of an CA m24 LTR and by the time I bought it, I just replaced the bucking with an Action Army one and swapped the spring for an m150 and i was very happy with it, perfect seal, +- 2fps variation... But after two weeks I lost all the consistency and the perfect seal... So I'm gonna buy the AA chamber for this model(green one) and maple leaf bucking, but I'm in the doubt with the cylinder head. Will the stock one work for it? And do you think it's worth buying a Crazy Jet instead of an steel Action Army barrel? Thanks for everything :)

Cylinder/loop ratio = 3:1. Loop zelf is 6.01 mm. De velden laten enkel Bio's toe en het liefst zou ik voor wit willen gaan. Any ideas? (novritsch, geoff's,...)
