How the hell are y'all so fucking good? Seriously. I liked this song before, but then "Killstar" came out and somehow I like it even more now. I loved your last EP to death and it sounds like you guys have grown in musicianship and, even moreso, just pure confidence. You sound like a band that's been playing for decades and this is your debut album, and that tells me you've got 4 individuals who are dedicated to their craft. Stumbled upon this song on NB 24/7 stream without even seeing the video, and something instantly struck my ears over the first few seconds with that seemingly cheap keyboard melody. After several listenings, I feel amazed about how catchy the song is with so many layers and drawers, without ever completly replicating a verse, and building bridges around a haunting chorus. This is just brillant songwriting, congratulations. You guys got a solid hit single there, and you obviously are ready to conquer the world. Rock on !

I have to agree with some comments saing they are missing something here. I love Reliqas Eventide album, Mr. Magic and the last EP. From my feelings after the first listen, the new song is a little too straight forward and lacks those unique and creative moments of your past releases. It may grow on me though, and I am happy for ANY new material of you guys, ... but I also hope that this track is only the 'safety'-single on the new album 😅❤️ ❤

It's a good song with great production ... but I miss a good portion of the progressive edges and spikes and the intricacies, that made reliqa songs very special for me. Especially in the last EP, that was masterpiece. I hope, the deal with NB won't have a normalizing effect on their music style. We will see, whether they turn into another exchangeable 'xy' standard-metalband like quite some others before them after their first big deal, or whether they can fight for their very distinguishable sound. Of course, they are developing ... but in what direction ?

That technical and mathy song writing gets old quick, imo. I used to not like when bands dialled down their technical ability in favour of a more accessible sound. But, these days, I believe creating music that is catchy, mature, memorable, and intentional is much more difficult, and much better to listen to. Sometimes, I feel like bands opt for technical prowess because they just can't write a decent melody.
