This is a Sizemaster press. around $375 - $500, depending where you shop. It's always expensive to get started in reloading, but if you ignore that cost and you are super disciplined in your use of shells, it can be a money saver. But it usually isn't. Plus it takes time to make a box of 25.

I just enjoy reloading. When birdshot was $5.00 a box. Cheaper to buy, now at $10 a box I can “save” money. I have enough supplies to load several cases at 2015 supply cost!

How much does it cost per shell to reload?

If you had to buy your components today, you're looking at $6.00 to $7.00 per box. IF you can find the primers and powder! I picked up hulls from our Gun Club after a skeet competition, bought primers by the 1000s, and picked up powder in 4- and 8-pound containers when I found them reasonably priced. With all that being said, I haven't bought any components in several years. Right now, I'm loading these at $2.50 a box for heavy dove. Thanks, RB.

Find a press, I bought mine at Cabelas, with points! Then wads, primers, powder, and shot. I picked up hulls at the skeet range I'm a member of. Good luck, it's not hard to load shot shells. All of it can be bought at Cabelas/Bass Pro.
