Curious what the heavy 308 bullet will be used for.I'm wanting to load a heavy round nose for my 308 with a 1/10 twist. Something soft and jacketed that will expand at 2000-2300 fps. I've read Hornady makes one but can't seem to find any info.Anyway just found your page and will be watching future videos.BTW I'm just up 154 in Sulphur Springs.

There's no point in heavy slow bullets.

Hey eddy, I recently got a .270 for my birthday, and i am going to be hunting moose with it, Also planing on reloading my own rounds, what bullet would you reccomend for moose in 270? What gunpowder? and how many grains,
@burnsrandy7 жыл бұрын
At least a 150 gr. bullet, Bl(c)2 or Varget. Your reloading book has many choices, the best choice is usually the first two or three on the list. Eddy

Eddy!!! We need some more videos friend! its been too long since you have posted, Id love to see how you reload 223 or 5.56 in bulk for plinking, I've got 1100 rounds of brass to process, but I see no end in sight because Im doing all of it by hand, what tips would you have?
@burnsrandy7 жыл бұрын
I suggest that you move from a single stage to either a 4 hole lee turret or a Hornady automatic press. This will improve your reloading time greatly. I hope this helps, Eddy

Ive got a Lee 4 hole turret press already, my problem is with trimming, chafer, deburing, and swaging all of them, I don't have money for expensive electric automatic stuff, is there a short cut i don't know about?

Did you try that in your rifle chamber too? If it fits

Hi Eddy, im about to load a 200gr Hornady AMAX for my Ruger American .308. Powder is Vhit N140. You think this combination will work? Want to try loads from 38-40.5 gr . Thank you for your vids, love your work!
