I got a machinist to open up the hole in my Forester Trimmer so larger diameter case heads would fit. It's a very simple job for anybody with a lathe.

Finding appropriate bullets for the .33 can be a challenge. I recently located 3 boxes of 200 grain Woodlieghs and I’ve heard of people using a 210 partition and filing a flat nose.

Thanks for the video, good information and was very helpful I am starting to reload this cartridge my dad had a model 1886 33 wcf when I was a kid . Unfortunately he sold the gun when I was a senior in high school back in 1975 for 175.00 dollars.. I happened to find one that had been restored a couple of years ago for 1750.00 . the unrestored guns were twice the money or more .The serial number dates my gun to 1902 which I believe was the first year for the 33 wcf cartridge in the model 1886. Thank you so much for posting this video! Very helpful. I have a couple questions. Was your pilot for the case trimmer just one you’d use to trim a .338 case? Was also wondering what your neck expanded to after Sizing. Mine are measuring to .333-.335. Haven’t loaded any yet, still waiting for more supplies in mail,, but noticed the .338 FN bullet I got from Hawks will not even start into the case mouth. Curious if you have ran into this or what your case mouths are sized to. I am using the same RCBS dies you have. Thanks again for the videos! Much appreciate the info you put out!
