Thought Glock said not to shoot cast lead bullets in their guns.

That little ledge just before the ogive is very important to keep the bullet aligned when you seat it

I’m interested in the light you have on your press. What type is it? I’ve been looking for something to illuminate the interior of the case for powder dump verification.

Apparently G42 has problems cycling lower weight, faster rounds (the 85 gr Barnes Tac being the shining example here). If you do a 95 gr or above, it has and easier time.

Late to the show. Glock says not to shoot lead bullets through their barrels. Do you use an aftermarket barrel?

i shoot lead out of my g-30sf without leading and top accuracy.

I had trouble with the flat nose 105 grain plated bullets from RMR, they wouldn't feed in my g-42. are those berrys bullets a flat nose? They feed in the g-42? Seems like a pain to resize bullets that you bought- I bought some makarov bullets from Missouri, and they were so big, they wouldn't work, no resizer available in Makarov dia. They're scrap lead now.

Check out my channel for my detailed video on loading the berrys 100 grain for 380 ACP. The berrys 100 grain are copper plated round nose...not flat and feed perfectly. I have tried the 90 grain truncated cone SD rounds from Hornady and they feed perfect also. FYI...I polished out my G42 feed ramp soon as I got it. Sizing is a pain but it goes fast. Not sure why the stock MB 95 gr are not correctly sized? Best of luck

Just curious...how much of a crimp on your 380 reloads?
@prepperbear856810 жыл бұрын
On all my 380 reloads I use a Wilson case gauge to check each completed round. During die setup I back out the factory crimper and slowly move it down until the crimp enables smooth entry into case gauge. I leave it there basically just enough to ensure smooth chamber feeding. I check each round and sometimes have to tweak setting of crimper. Be sure and check out my Glock42 optimized load video.
