I have a simple Lee turret press and it’s a lot faster than this. Man this is like watching paint dry. No offense it’s just that there are faster ways to do this. I have a Lee Loadmaster progressive press but like the turret press better

Friend, how do I remove the orange tip from the g42 because it is metal and no one has the orange tip. I painted it black but I don't like it. I don't want it. It looks better without the tip.

is it neccesary to resize 380 brass when reloading new cases shot once from the same pistol that you are reloading for? Would just using a case gauge and trimming when neccesary be okay? Also, i see that there are 380 bullets for sale in both .355 and .356....can either be used to reload 380?

Just want to say, I really appreciate this. I was just getting ready to load (using pistol powder) and was unsure of the grainage of the charge. I’m using equivalencies from bullseye to pistol powder, and based on your load I believe I am in the clear with the measurements I equated. Just wanted to thank you for putting this information out there so those of us who are using new recipes can somewhat eyeball ours to ensure we’re ballpark. So thank you kind sir. On the 42 and 43 if you depress the slide release right at the spring down towards the trigger area the front metal pin almost falls out , 100 times easier the wiggling the slide release around .

Your video was helpful, but in my research, you can not shoot subsonic ammo, (.223), in semi auto, (AR), without having to manual load each round. I have been trying to find load data for subsonic 6.5 creedmore using Trail Boss.

G42 is a tough one to reload for . I cast so at first I used a 102-107 ? grain lee mold round nose it likes to grab the lands so I had to load it very deep. I went to the lee 120 truncated cone it doesn’t grab the lands so much. And it’s reliable loading also .380 doesn’t like a lot of crimp cuz it bulges the lead.

ok on the vid, but maybe you should corrected before posting. Wilson Combat doesn't make Wilson case gauges. I'm a big Wilson Combar fan boy, but L.E. Wilson gauges are completely different company.

Your problem isn’t the 9lb hammer spring. You didn’t cut enough coils off of the trigger spring so the hammer still isn’t going back all the way.

I agree dont use the Wolf hammer spring, had the exact same problem with light primer strikes. Put Taurus factory spring back in and zero issues.

I’m interested in the light you have on your press. What type is it? I’ve been looking for something to illuminate the interior of the case for powder dump verification.

I have a suggestion that I do... When I load my tray up with brass, I start with them opening up, then prime and put them back in opening down . Then when I fill them with powder, they get flipped again ... this prevents grabbing an already charged case and double charging it and just makes it easy to know what stage each case is at.

so now it's the year 2020 going on 2021, and i'm using my 20$ lee 102gn mould and what ever empty 380 brass i can fined, i was very fortunate that i saved over a 1000 primers and 4 cans of partial pistol powders to get me thru this ongoing election, i love my bersa firestorm 380 and my 380 cartridges, it's now my favorite caliber and hand gun, thanks for your video.

this is the same exact load i use for my 125gn lead cast bullets out of my 9mm with ragged 1 hole groups out of my Beretta 92fs.
