We used balljoint spacers in the 70s. They went between the upper balljoint and the upper suspension. They were cast from aluminum and were a perfect fit. I dont know if anyone still makes them. They gave me a perfect ride height on my 67 Mustang.

Yeah I’ve seen those before, smart idea, I’d probably had done something like that if this modification hadn’t raised it back to where I wanted it but luckily doing this modification out it back right where I want it. Thanks for sharing your experience and ideas. Thanks for watching.

I agree the ride height looks perfect. All I can think of regarding the increased difference of over a 1/2" ride height is that Opentracker refers to using the double roller spring perch where you have the standard roller perch. Maybe double roller perch allows the spring to sit a little lower? Thanks for the video and sharing your experience.

@@springman1740 that is a thought, and could be possible, I hadn’t thought about that, but it still works perfectly and doesn’t make any noise or have any binding so I’m leaving it as is, but good thought process. Yeah I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, you’re welcome, glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching.

Looks good man. What size of wheels and tires are you running? You have a nice sidewall height.
