Nice to see the ELITƎ get some additional support. As it is, I really dig how the FX are on their own wet/dry mini-faders and how it handles loops. My biggest gripe is that it is 24bit/48KHz but that is true of a lot of other mixers as well. That and I feel as if I already have too many two channel battle mixers and wish for more channels, even the Rane Empath way back when had 3, and the asking price on some of the 4+ channel mixers in recent years has gone through the roof.

SERATO you should be nice and throw us Numark Scratch owners a bone - Scratch Bank. I understand the Scratch is a budget mixer, but COME ON, it's a scratch centric mixer. The damn DDJ-FLX6 has Scratch Bank, and it's a lot closer to a budget controller than it is a premium one. I know it'll probably never happen, but I never thought I'd see it on the Elite, so maybe there's hope. As far as the DDJ-1000 OW, looks amazing, and the price is awesome. And by awesome I mean, WTFWTFWTFWTF. I get it's a limited edition, but the asking $$$ is crazier than 30 Karens accidentally walking into a black church. I bet a regular 1000 with 2 skinz from 12skinz would look almost identical for a lot less. I know you said the retail price is $1,800, but the ones I've seen are going for $2,800 because people are idiots lol. Good video as always, I should check out Serato Studio now that it has recording.

Catalina is still doing fine. Clean installed Big Sur and it tremendously slowed down my MacBook Air 13" 2015. Went back to Catalina straight away.

I really want the features on the A-Trak Mixer. But I know it's features that I don't need. The only gripe I have with the mixer is A-Traks name on the faceplate lol.

good job Rane you made a 70 look like a Behringer LOL the graphic fonts are terrible. A trak last competed in the year 2000 - far from a legend. You can get a 72 MK1 for almost a grand cheaper. just upgrade the firmware.

Yea my DDJ1000SRT is pissed. My Rane ONE is all cocky "LoOk aT My BaNKs!" .... It's fine, they will release it at some point.

I love the dj game. You have to resell your mixer in a few years because they become boat anchor. Ill stick with my rotary empath. A couple of turntables and a denon sc. My rane sl 3 is about to have a rope and anchor tied. Big sur. To bad im in need of a new computer. 2008 MacBook is getting old and I can't put full faith in that.

I know the original software had the option to keep snippets of the samples in a unique folder if you chose (session files) . not sure if you're talking about Ableton on the computer though

There was some insider scoop back in the late 90s about A trak that kinda got buried how his family paid his way through the ranks in those DMC comps.. just food for thought - don't have total evidence now as it is a distant memory except for the videos everyone can view.

Uh... The kid is skilled. He was a beast, and won his DMC finals fairly. You can't fake a dmc routine back then. It was all analog.

I am personally not a fan of the A-Trak Rane 70, even if the color and finish nice. That huge A-Trak logo is horrible and I could care less for the Fader FX in it's current form. I am probably alone with my opinion though :D
