Is it weird that I burst into tears?? Wish they'd come back. :(

Not weird at all. I do anytime I hear him live definitely but also someone’s just hearing an album 💿 😊

I was the exact right age to get REM growing up. Bought Murmur for Radio Free Europe and a few other tapes, but I didnt deep dive and pay attention. I wish I had paid more attention as it happened and learned every song on every album. It was right there for me and I didnt grab it.

dig the Syd Straw intro from "future 40's", which is a very slick song itself that Michael sang on with her. I saw them on this tour which was a solid rock n roll show. This was the first time that I saw them in a large stadium type show instead of halls. I prefer the older shows where it was easier to get up front.

Change...is what I believe in. I remember getting Tour Film on VHS cassette. It took a few decades until I truly understood it.

Its weird..Stipe didn't have a heavy southern accent..almost sounded like a Yank hipster actually but alot of their early stuff was so country influenced that he emulated that back country woods accent flawlessly
