The language he is speaking is a derivative of English originating in Nigeria called Pigin English. It’s what Patois is to Jamaicans or creole to Haitians. It’s spoken mostly in English speaking west African countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Cameron etc.

@@victoriaalce7760 I actually implied that in my original reply. The phrase ‘it is what patois is to Jamaicans or Creole to Haitians’ simply implies that creole is a derivative of a main language. It doesn’t mean that Creole is a derivative of the English language, if that makes sense. Hope my explanation helps 🙂.

@@Idris.saheed it’s still the same language structure but with differences in some aspects of the diction. They are all pigin or colloquial English derived from English language, have the same primary structure hence the ability for all speakers to generally understand other speakers regardless of the country they come from. I did not imply that both colloquial English forms are the same.
