They said they’re a kpop group and tbh it makes sense. Kpop is a music genre afterall and kaachi release “Korean pop music” so yeah they are kpop. There’s ton of foreign idols out there like even Japanese and Chinese members are techinically foreigners and even groups with no Korean members at all rn(ex black swan) but no one blinks an eye but kaachi debuted they all called them Korean boos so if they think kaachi is Korean boo then all the existing foreign idols are Korean boos according to their logic🤔

@@goquokka9349 But that isn't the fault of the group, that's the fault of whoever made the song. If people could get over Momoland's plagiarism, for example, why can't they get over Kaachi's?? Plus, like I say, plagiarism is not the fault of the group. They are not the ones who made the songs so it's just pointless to dislike the group over something they had no control over.

@@cerisemin that’s true and they didn’t like actually train to be an idol it’s not something that you can just start you have to become a trainee first, and yes there are some idols that only trained for like 2 days but they didn’t have time for the group that they joined already had a debut date set (also very rare) BUT those girls they just like debuted out of no where with no training, no set debut just started singing song in a language they don’t even speak and called it kpop. and i know it probably not the girls faults but they can still speak up and if they get fired join audition for a company that respects your opinions

people who hate Kaachi really show how much they romanticize Koreans and the Culture. Yet don't realize how diverse South Korea really is. It's super mixed just like America. You don't have to be a certain ethnicity to make American music, just be an American. You don't have to be Korean to make Kpop, just be a Korean in Culture. If you're Mexican,White, African... You're still American. Korean, White, African... If you're born in Korea, speak the language, are in the Culture. you're Korean. Funny thing is no Koreans had a single problem with Kaachi... it was just Westerners who fetishise the country and want it to be a certain way. Most kpop artist come from Japan not even knowing Korean Culture. funny enough Koreans actually give them more hate for being Japanse than Westerners do. It's like Westerners just need you to be Asian and they'll accept you as a Kpop idol. While Koreans actually favor a born in Korea White idol as apposed to a foreign Japan idol. I don't understand why people made things so difficult for them, Kpop is not an Asian only party. Just speaking Korean really is enough.
