Whoever recorded and produced this, in 1985, is a genius.

I can't believe the amount of pure gold this channel has been spreading so far. Definitely one of the best channels on KZbin featuring this kind of rarities! Subscribed and super grateful! Love from Italy!

I'm awestruck by the immense pristine sound of this early goth band. This sounds just as fresh and urgent hearing it today as it surely was upon release back in 1985.

I really dig the sound for my room. Reminds me of South of no north. With the vocals mixed with darker bass tones and echoes.

My God! I had completely forgotten how amazing this guy's voice was! I'm mindblown once again after listening to it after all these years!

Lyrics for "Lonesome Hours". Lyrics: My eyes are full of shadow My frame of mind is sad Trying all that telephone numbers No one's there I need someone who knows to lie Someone who knows to lie This night the awful things come true If you need them they are gonna sleep Is it love what makes the world go round I don't know There's no one here to ask There's no one here to ask A lie is all we need to live today Loneliness can't last so long I was born to find you now you can't disappear I'm missing me so bad I'm missing me I'm missing me

Very interesting, i have Always Heard "someone who knows the light" instead of "someone knows to lie"
@kimberleythorsen8384 Жыл бұрын
I also hear “someone who knows the light”… since the third dimension of my perception collapsed I’ve come to know the light he speaks of. Even if I’ve got the lyrics wrong I’m sticking to the light cos there are enough lies in the world already and it seems to get darker every day… hoping everyone finds the light of truth soon to get ourselves out of the dark deception✨

Epic production for 85 and really interesting musical ideas marred by horrible pretentious vocals that lack melody. Stupid lyrics.
