In Flagstaff, Arizona?? Not likely, sir. More likely, they had an easy slam dunk conviction, and cleared this case off the books without the cost of a long, drawn out trial. Whatever your own prejudices against Democrats, Republicans like easy convictions as well. They all have a job to do. Incidentally, with your attitude, both sides wouldn't want you on any jury to decide this guy's fate, because of your preconceptions about the motivations of the state, or of the defendant. Non Premeditated is Second Degree Murder in AZ, some States it would be same as First Degree Murder and others call it Manslaughter : ARS 13-1104 is the Arizona statute that defines the crime of second-degree murder. People commit this offense when they kill another person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly, but do so without premeditation (which is required for first-degree murder, per ARS 13-1105).

If you killed someone like this, there is no such thing as not planning it, just like there is no such thing as bringing them back once dead. If he tampered with evidence, concealed the body, and not sure of the drug thing, but he was covering up what he did, his intentions were to hide it. I understand there are such cases that it can be an accident etc. but trying to conceal a body is not something you do over an accident, it's something you do when you are guilty....
