I love how much respect you showed for Peach's smash moveset. I've seen peach moveset remakes where they completely scrap her original moveset. At this point, Peach's smash moveset is extremely iconic. I'd argue she literally has a more iconic smash legacy than Mario and so I feel ignoring that is an injustice to people who like her current moveset. Great job!

I had a similar idea for a Peach remake, but I pulled more from Super Princess Peach, and had Perry as her main weapon using him for her neutral and tilt attacks and replacing Peach Bomber with his Chargebrella power

As a Peach main I love these adjustment. All except the loss of toad reflect and Peach bomber. The counter is a great ace in the hole that would be sorely missed. The Bomber is a part of the long running stealth innuendos that surrounds her. Its part of her "Japanese origins" referencing a Eastern fertility goddess. Bowser sings a song about it for crying out loud. We wouldn't want his next song to be "Requiem for Peaches" now would we?

An honest critique from someone who loves Peach in both Smash and the Mario series: - I fully approve of seeing the Sparkle ribbon gain utility for her new forward tilt and neutral special. - It is definitely for the better that her playstyle stays intact while being less physically demanding (carpal tunnel is never fun). - Giving her moves that have unique interactions in one-on-one and team matches? That sounds like something up her alley! - I will, however, miss the "peach" based attacks (the old Peach Bomber, back air). I just thought they'd look funny on her. To each their own. - At this point, it's long overdue to change Peach's final smash. The cute SMB3 reference in the Peach Blossom jingle is nice, but I'd prefer something more offensive and showcase our lovely lady's fullest power. The 11th hour transformation in Showtime fits the bill. Phenomenal job, Delzethin! This was a treat for me!

Honestly, I think Peach’s current final smash is still better. It makes more sense that someone peaceful like Peach would have a non-violent final smash, and it stands out from all the flashy attacks. Big offensive maneuvers aren’t her style.

Excellent rework omg!, the only thing I would keep is the frying pan launching upwards, because the angle works as a second reference to the Mario version of Chef from the Game & Watch Gallery 2, where u play as Peach, and she's gotta constantly juggle food that is getting thrown at her using a frying pan, much how her current frying pan FSmash sends people flying very upwards, and also makes more sense direction-wise because yer holding up to use the frying pan, and I would replace the golf club with her parasol, to reference the final blow she does to Bowser in Super Princess Peach, which would look perfect if u end a match exactly how Peach finishes Bowser off in that game, and the fact she usually relies on her parasol a lot for mobility and combat, she's not afraid of whacking people with that thing if necessary, and I agree so much Toad should become his own character, and the removal of his counter better reflects that Peach isn't just a damsel in distress anymore, even when she's been kidnapped a lot in the past, she's hardly ever guarded, even in games where she's supposed to be actively protected xd, and she hiding behind a Toad is something that ironically's never happened in a Mario game, if anything its the other way around xd, and heck, some games she straight up rejects that protection and jumps onto the action with Mario and friends! And her counter wasn't that good, and its one that has blindspots and can backfire on u, so I'm very fine with it being replaced by something else that doesn't just represent Peach better, but also something she actually does in the games, and something that's also overall more useful Toad being free to finally become playable, while Peach gets to shine even more on her own is a huge plus all the way, and I really love u put emphasis on her healing and supportive abilities, especially how that FS can be used for assistance or offense, which makes it pretty unique, even among other Zero Laser kinda FSs, while keeping it true to Peach, who can be a great assist and kick butt very well, depending how she feels that day xd

This is the level of updating I would want Peach to get in Smash. If the next smash game cut half the roster but refreshed all of the veterans to this degree, I would cry happy tears. You can keep the feel of a character and still make their moveset updated after 15 years. My only change would be to keep some booty moves because I feel that Peach being cheeky (pun intended) is still in character. My main candidate would probably be back air with the heart VFX

I would say for SPP, maybe have a meter of emotions. Sad Peach makes Peach and her teammates faster movements. Angry Peach makes Peach and her teammates do more damage. Happy Peach gives Peach and her teammates 2 extra jumps. Calm Peach heals Peach and her teammates You can only activate one per full meter, but with the up, down, left, or right buttons on the blue joystick, you can strategically choose which one.

I think if any character was going to attack with their rear end, first it would be Wario, but then it would be the character whose namesake resembles one (this 🍑 emoji is a common sight for a reason). Peaches are also symbolic of fertility in Japan, that's probably where her name came from in the first place, so in that regard I really don't see them removing that aspect from her.

17:00 I thought I was the only one who wanted a standalone Bowser game in recent times. A 3D brawler where we can actively see the true power of the Koopa King would be awesome. Breakable environments, maybe a kaiju battle (BiS showed it can work), and more. Plus, the setup is the easiest thing in the world to do. Some new big bad shows up, kidnaps literally all of our usual heroes, from Mario and Luigi to even Rosalina, most of the Toads, and even DK, and only Peach with her wit (and let's be honest, some Toads taking the fall for her) manages to escape into hiding. With no heroes left, Peach knows only one person who can help: Bowser. And as we all know by now, Bowser does not like it when someone tries to upstage him. He's the baddest boss around and he'll save the world to prove it. "Someone's trying to take over the world AND took my arch-nemesis? That won't stand! SHOWTIME!" As for Waluigi.. it makes sense he'd get a standalone too to complete the quartet. Mario gets the platformers, Luigi has his ghost hunting, Wario has microgames, so what would we give Waluigi that isn't just sports? My idea was some form of noir-esque game. Detective Waluigi maybe? Or a more stealth-based game, something like that. A game that exemplifies the purple gremlin's trickster nature and lanky body.

Speaking as a former melee peach player, I really like the concept you've outlined here. In melee specifically, peach sometimes feels like she's less about midrange footsies and whiff punishing, and more about up close brawling and raw rush down as a result of her float cancel aerials and overtuned up close kit (dash attack, down smash). Your redesign, to me at least, seems like a fun rework of peach, that is more centered around whiff punishing, and doesn't torture my weakening wrists 😊

honestly I'm all for all the changes, but I genuinely thought changing Peach Bomber so drastically makes it more boring. I'd say reverting the existing effect back to the melee explosion is more fun. The ridiculousness of her causing an explosion with her backside is part of the comedy.

tbf i dont know how peach plays in tournaments but imo just flat nerfing float cancels doesnt feel like a super good way to make people less likely to hurt themselves doing it (because its really good) imo a better way would be to copy pomme from rivals of aether, who is basically Peach Float the Character. pomme can start a float at ground height by simply jumping and holding down at the same time, letting you float just above the ground to use her aerials that way you can keep the peach float shenanigans intact while also preventing physically harmful inputs being required

I much prefer that as opposed to just getting rid of Peach's floating combat because that is her unique identity. Just make the floating automatic with like maybe 2 different heights from short hop but leave the manual floats from full hops intact. If her floating combat is intact though she can't receive the full 10% air speed buff or else she would be busted.

That's a good replacement for the black dress. 3:44 the 7 stars yeah. Not in the RPG series. 5:50 that clearly says "2 chain" so IDK what 3rd hit you're talking about. 6:58 really? Well I just learned something. That I won't use. 10:56 do you mean that it can counter? 13:04 as long as I can do side special then crown I'm happy since that's my only real combo. 14:15 whether or not it should be random at all is an opinion. Either is fine (I never use it). 16:47 balance seems fine to me since you're way beyond my ability. Theme is also good since there's not much to work with.

Even though this is one of the weaker Remake It's (it was kinda inevitable since Peach already had a good moveset framework), it was still nice to see updates in the moveset where it made sense. The only thing I'm not sold in on is the Final Smash. I knew Super Radiant Peach wasn't gonna be an interesting Final Smash the moment Peach won the Patreon poll, and it's essentially a reskin of ZSS Zero Laser gameplay-wise.

Good rework, but the healing sprout would make peach extremely unfun to play against since she is a very floaty character that would have no issues camping, especially with the buffed run and aerial speed. Like sure there's counterplay but as soon as that item is plucked, the matchup would be centralized around that item. The other vegetables are good though

I would like for Shadow Peach to be in the video as is (it’s technically just a possessed Peach; there are mods for that version of her) as a costume, and also add Wedding Peach from Super Mario Odyssey as a costume as well(since people wanted that as a costume since Odyssey came out (why only Mario gets the costume but not Peach or Bowser if they also the main characters) I would also say I would have change her neutral air for her to use 2 moves into 1: her neutral air uses her parasol while twirling around holding the handle and a blue tornado surrounds her body(the tornado defends the left and right side of her while her parasol defends above her for enemies giving her a move defensive/offensive neutral approach); 2 references to her introduction before battle in SSBU and her Happy Emotion from Super Princess Peach for Nintendo DS. Appearance wise: as I said before Peach's dress should definitely have a petticoat this time. She has one in with her dress in Princess Peach Showtime, so they should give her dress more detail by adding one. For taunts: I like the idea of the bow, but maybe it should be a bow with a curtsey. Moves: I think Peach could use a new Up-tilt.

Good work, hope your feeling better. I know that you would just remake Link into BOTW/TOTK Link, Lucina on the other hand could be challenging especially if your planning on using Heroes. On the one hand, I think using Lucina Summer, Easter and Valentine's weapons would make her moveset interesting but people probably wouldn't find it flattering for her.on the other hand, people would probably want her to use her multiple Brave alt weapons instead though my issue is that she would become a Byleth clone. I honestly think Lucina should get her own game where she could get new abilities, techniques, spells or classes and it has been a year of women at Nintendo though the real question is would FE fans like a Lucina centered game over like a Genealogy of the holy war remake. What do you think?

I gotta say, I'm resenting Showtime more & more since its flanderizing peach as just "a kind theater person" & nothing more. Tons of smash moveset reworks like this one sacrifice other aspects of her character like her teasing streak & cunning tactics just for "showtime that & showtime this" that's just really unnecessary. As for criticisms towards this rework specifically, for fucks sake the overhaul to Peach Bomber is fixing a complaint that NO ONE has had with it, now its borderline out of character for peach, the few times she has used bombs were back in the 90s when her character wasn't as established. & "beeg beam go brrrrrr" is a much worse final smash for her then peach blossom, a charming move that might look underwhelming at 1st glance, but once you look deeper into it you find out its crafty properties make it one of the best final smashes in the game, a perfect representation of Princess Peach.

When was Peach "a kind theater person" in any of the pre-Showtime! games in which she appeared? From my knowledge, Showtime! did new things with Peach. In hindsight your right, peach has never shown any traits of being a theater person prior to showtime, which is why I take such issue with it making that her whole character. I definitely could have chose a better word then flanderizing to get my point across.

Nintendo should hire you for THIS moveset specifically. I personally would've tried to find more ways to fit in Showtime nods, but this is still spectacular. Also, if you ask me, Daisy should be the next Mario character to get their own solo game, and THAT should be the Warriors style game.

And for how this particular dart monkey would fight, it would be similar to the priana plant,in how this dart money would use the upgrades of the monkeys from btd6,since it has the most content, as for the play style,I only see fit that it would a zooner for his jab,side tilt and forward air,he would throw a dart forward. I think he just doesn't like references does in excess or for no reason that just the sake of them Something like Mario's Fireball or Cape work because they're not only references to the games, but they also makes sense as attacks and can be woven into his moveset organically Stuff like Garfield randomly turning into his OG design for the sake of a reflect attack feels a lot more like a reach just for the sake of "lol remember this?!"
