Is there a resource to see existing fighters "ratings"? Like size, frame data, damage, combo, ko power, and recovery? I don't see it in the link in the description.

Engage is such a strange game. It definitely feels like it simultaneously wants to be a back to basics return to form after 3 Houses got super experimental, a nostalgic celebration AND a new step forward for the series. And trying to fulfill all those goals at once feels muddled. Story wise it’s campy and over the top…sometimes. But mostly just opts to be a more phoned in copy of Awakening with forgettable characters. Plenty of past FE games prove that a simple story doesn’t have to be bad (look at Sacred Stones or Shadows of Valentia). So there’s really no excuse for how trite Engage is, full of long winded cutscenes that don’t go anywhere and half baked concepts in its second half. The moment to moment gameplay is fantastic. Combat and map design are genuinely really satisfying but as you say there’s a lot of little things holding it back. The Somniel tries to streamline the Monastery but the result is a measure that lacks the former’s texture without the brevity of Fates’ My Castle. The Skill system never lets you fully engage with it due to how stingy the game is with SP. And unit balance is a mess with pretty much all the early game characters being worthless. Blazing Blade and Path of Radiance, even if some units were much stronger than others, were way better about staggering the good units throughout the campaign. I like this game. But I don’t love it. Its mechanics are great, but they’re bogged down by a nothing burger story, underwhelming characters, a bizarre art direction and sluggish pacing.

I would love to see Revali join Smash. If he did, I’d definitely will play him.

I was thinking they could re make the whole system of smash like adding customizable movesets just like the mii fighters. This time it would be more balanced cause it part of the core mechanic of the game and not a side feature. It would most likely have a different head lead cause sakurai will maybe retire someday

I would love go see an ARMS sequel, I remember Yabuki talking about it in the past, but that’s all up to him. He loves his game-you can see it in his interviews, and selling nearly 3 million is a pretty good start for a new IP. I’d like to see some combo routes added or even attacks with their non/extendable form part of it too-not to mention kicking is part of some character’s kits (Min Min, Helix, Misango and Lola Pop to be percise)

If Rauru got into the Next Smash, I think that he might be one of my more played characters, mayhaps even my new main.

I would love to see a Ryu and Ken Remake It. That would be interesting.

I honestly would love to see a starfox entry

I remember when Kazuya came out and I started playing him, I felt like I found my dream character. He combined big combos with impactful stun moves with satisfying animations. I loved the way the camera would tilt on his grabs, or the zoom in on his forward smash and rage drive attacks. Weird thing to mention ik, but it’s something that really drew me toward that character. But as time has gone on, people realized the only good way to play against him is to not let him play the game, this leads to very polarizing matchups where projectiles characters generally win and close range fighters get complete eaten by Kazuya’s extreme damage output. I don’t even fault people for playing so incredibly defensively against him because if they mess up once on my shield they could very well die at low percent.

For alt costumes, they could use Sonic's different outfits from the side games. Sonic is dressed differently in the Sonic Boom series, Sonic Riders and some of the storybook games. They could have him dressed as a knight, give him the glasses and accessories he wears in the Riders series, give him his classic design as an alt, and use movie Sonic with the different fur as an alt, too.

Dark Pit is pretty easy to change. Alter the moves using the Silver Bow to be more in line with how the Silver Bow works and give him different weapon types for his Side and Down specials. Pull specifically from the ones he uses in chapter 6.

I think a funny thing for greninja is to add ash greninja in the code that you need to do a cheat code for, (the Konami code) it does nothing just looks cool.

It would be dope to give his clinch grabs a cargo effect where he can push/pull to reposition ppl to create platform tech situations & sumo-push ppl offstage
