I'm honestly disappointed when Ultimate doesn't have a Boss Rush mode despite the fact that the game has boss fights in the first place. If Smash 6 becomes a thing and has boss fights, hopefully it returns.

I don't think his moveset is the problem. Other than his garbage specials, all I hear is praise for a lot of his moves. His movement is the real problem. I'd honestly change one thing about him. I'd replace hammer with a very fast burst movement option. I think that alone would bump him up a whole tier. Edit: I really gotta stop commenting mid watch.

Something TF2 did that I think would be very interesting for a "smash kart" was adding the smash bros % mechanics to the vehicles. It would essentially work like smash too, where getting hit by items increases your percent gauge which would increase the knockback you take. Bumping into other racers and against walls could add percent too, so the better drivers will be taking less damage that way. Or you could play aggressively and intentionally bump other racers to give them some damage that way (while receiving a little recoil damage yourself). Picking up coins could heal you a little, and there could even be an item that does nothing but heal you. Getting knocked off the track would also reset your health back to 0%

I think I’d change these things about sonic in smash -light speed dash as a side special -shade or blue look less pale -alts based off of metal sonic and super sonic -up grab being the sonic wind move -spin dash is faster and does more damage -bring back you’re too slow -super sonic working similar to diddy Kong -forward air is sonic eagle -back kick is reworked to a spin dash -everything else stays the same pretty much (besides also adding knuckles)

i really like this one!! ive seen a few other concepts but i like that this one includes both his zonai and sacred powers as well as not making him so overly complicated that he would ruin the game props to you, i could definitely see this design in the game!!

I like both major camps The just make ultimate but bigger is good with me because I do like ultimate still and think just expanding it isn’t the worst thing they could do However a soft reboot isn’t a bad idea as well because some stuff could be reworked. But that’s the tricker one because everyone has a different interpretation of what they’d want. Mine personally and I know it’s a hot take because I don’t see many people liking this game I want a Smash 4 style customization but expanded! If the initial roster is only 20-30 characters but they have like 5 different options/ varatians you can unlock for each move and even take a step further and do something like MK11 with towers and unlocking both items to use in towers for buffs and parts of alternate costumes to mix and match with Example Mario with red overalls and the wedding hat from odeyssy And for the love of everything let us make custom variants in a custom mode to use in ANY mode in the game. That’s my two cents

A single player mode that has levels like Melee's Adventure Mode, with cutscenes, and story length similar to Subspace, and enemy variety from 3DS's Smash Run, and with an overworld and bosses like the ones from World Of Light, would be amazing. It's just all the best elements from each "story" mode in one.

How Smash Bros 6 can exceed Ultimate is that it would be a game on the Switch 2, who knows about the size of the rooster, fans keep on making their own roosters (a bit far off from Reality), the rooster should a mix of old and new . My rooster is bit wild since it has some classic Capcom characters, three new Sonic characters,4 new Pokémon characters, three new Earthbound, two new kirby characters two new Metroid characters, two new mario characters, 3 Zelda, and it gets crazy.

Only one fix...well two...fix the delay online...and make it like melee 😏

This may be a long shot, considering how freeform they are in platfighters, but i'd love to see combo trials in smash bros. I think it'd be nice to see bnb's represented in game, instead of me having to figure them out or surf the web to figure out how to play certain characters.

I think Smash 6's catchphrase should be "Everyone is NEW", with everyone getting an all new moveset

I think a new artstyle would go a long way as well. Brawl and 4 look very similar and ult is a little more stylized, I think it would be great if they went further into that caroonish style that the ultimate ads had

For the love of GALEEM- Remake. Old. Fighters. MOVESETS. I cannot stress enough how infuriating it is to see my favorite characters use nothing but generic attacks that contain no reference to their source material. Pikachu hasn’t been given a fresh coat of paint in years. 85% of Kirby’s moveset consists of stupid little kicks that make no sense . Even WARIO has none of his WarioWorld-based wrestling moves… IN A FUCKING FIGHTING GAME. Smash Bros would be so much more fun if each character were given more attention to their play style and how each attack were actually relevant.. As it stands right now I can’t even play Smash Ultimate without cringing because of how poorly Sakurai depicted a vast majority of the fighters.

I don't imagine the legwork for all the licensing complications would be worth it for Nintendo to do DLC costumes or a custom palette mechanic. The palette thing is impossible bc brands like sonic or final fantasy don't want their characters to stray too far from the original palette.

One new rule I'd like to see that is on training mode, is the ability to choose what Pokemon & Assist Trophies appear in a match.

Why not make Samus fluent in English and in the Chozo language?

Smash builder should allow you to import .OBJ files giving players more creative depth. A concept that you design something 3D on a computer/tablet even phone Export that file as an .OBJ to your switch so mouse controls could still be used but external sources and files could add that extra creativity without Nintendo having to think up everything we want.

Cutting Diddy Kong, Meta Knight, ROB, Ridley and Game and Watch all before Lucario is such a weird call, I understand wanting to keep around later Pokémon but all of those mentioned before are all such juggernauts compared to a popular Pokémon in a sea of other more popular Pokémon

Need a new sonic character

In hindsight, Ultimate was kind of a rip off. It costs over a hundred dollars with all dlc. Rivals of Aether 2 costs only 30 dollars and you get all future characters for free. The only extra content that costs money in Rivals 2 is cosmetics. Plus, in Rivals 2, online actually works and all characters are interesting and cool instead of half the roster being boring, problematic, or both. I'm probably not even going to buy Smash 6 tbh.

Maybe a hot take if not lukewarm, i would want all new arrangements for music. No past arrangements from previous Smash games.

I think people way overinflate how toxic hype got. It really wasn't that bad. If speculation and hype isn't your thing, you don't have to engage with it.

Tons of people have said that they want smash to back track and really focus on its veterans and making them unique, and I 100% agree. But I would even say that completely new mechanics and ways of play would be cool too. Don’t make it Mario, Link and DK with new movesets and the same controls, add some weird new fun mechanic to make the gameplay truly different from any other title. It would really stand on its own then. As far as ideas for these new mechanics 🤷‍♂️ Maybe make it even more like a fighting game in some instances, or even less like one. Possibilities are endless but I think most people are so familiar with the formula for a Smash game at this point that it’s time for something truly new and exciting.

Not making Shadow a playable character at this point is straight out disrespect. Sonic lacks new music, updated music and of course, more playabke characters.
