Love how you kept the character and flaws!! It’s a beautiful box with a story.

My kind of project ^^ just love giving wooden items new life without removing their character. Or giving character when the woods been covered up.

That's a great way of thinking - fixing something that is broken instead of throwing it and buying new one! repaired stuff has history and looks as good!

Your videos are so nice and wholesome. It's either you just drawing something beautiful, or doing little projects like this, and I love it!

Beautiful work I did something similar but for my ribbons collection. I took and old wine box and repurposed it to Honda my ribbons in place

I'm interested in painting traditional Japanese architecture. I started learning about kumiko, shoji, joinery, construction techniques and processes, traditional spirituality of the omens of the compass. For the past couple of months I've been collecting pictures from Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram to use as models for sketching. Logically, I think the next step is to start tracing and transferring to a sketchbook. In the pictures there are a lot of browns, blues, and reds. What are some of the most used colors you use for this?
