Very cool tips! If you're ever interested in porting maps flat out, theres blender addons like SourceIO and Plumber to import bsps / vmfs. For GoldSrc, Source, Source 2, units are generally power of 2, so wall widths may usually be 4-16 in width, and wall heights are possible 128 units here? For how accurate you were with your tracing over the image, you probably could've even snapped your verts to grid if you wanted to.

I think there is another way to put decals close to eachother with no artifacts. I just increased the transparent bounces in the light paths section. Not sure if this would work for any decal but the ones I had in my project stopped showing artifacts after I made that change. (btw the end result is insane man, awesome work!)

@@TrueKyanite there is a command that you can run in command prompt to automatically install something that activates Windows. it's free and it just removes the annoying feature restrictions and water mark and you will never have to think of it again.

Games are sadly much more difficult to make than just a model imo animation models are a lot more simple than game models and you'd have to remake most assets specifically for games.
