I am 49 years old and have had the privilege of going to the Patton Museum twice in my life. The first time was when I was a young kid, probably somewhere around the age of 14-15 and the second time was somewhere in my early 20s. And it was in deed a privilege to go to the Patton museum. The Patton Museum is one of the finest museums of any kind I have ever been too and I can't imagine a better museum of any kind anywhere else. It is truly worth the visit, especially for a history nerd such as myself.

...I used'ta spend much of my free time during AIT (Aug - Oct 1971) at the museum... I was a hard core 1/35th Armor kit modeler and took copious photos for my 'research' library...still have 'em BTW...

I'd like to see what is left of the vehicles. I saw the King Tiger the last time I was there but they have shipped all the good stuff out now.

That looks more like a sheep than a dog? Definitely not much looking like his dog Willie, by now in this day and age you'd think they could of done better than that?!

Somehow I don't see myself wanting a picture standing next to the Gulf War table and chairs

Announcement today (3/16) is that museum will reopen April 1, 2021. Time for the museum to close for good. A big money pit over the past 50 years. It has outlived its usefulness. Just a money grab. Send the Patton relics to West Point.
