What the max speed you rich whit 200hp i have one have 331k km stock and still running with no problemi want to give him stage 1 or stage 1+ with sporta filter it well be around 190 200 hp what you think with safe driving?

I am remapping my 140 gt tdi mk5, apparently I can get 188bhp for £350...I have had 145mph out of mine before the map

A decent remap basically puts these cars back to how they should come out of the factory, the power delivery is more linear through the rev range the throttle responce is better, it makes the whole driving experience so much better and the mpg is the same if not better. I've had my tdi mapped for 2 years now with no issues, as with any diesel you must follow the servicing intervals strictly to avoid issues.

Mines had this remap up to 185bhp. 05 2.0l GT TDI. I love it. Used to have a MK4 GTi turbo. But I have a lad to cart about now so a diesel makes more sense. I get about 48mpg out of it.

Hi jemma thanks for your comment yes the 2.0 bkd engine when they get mapped are awesome it's the extra torque that makes the difference to the performance also don't know if your's is running a manual or dsg box but as the video shows mine is running a dsg box they are *awesome* 👌👍

How long have u had the car for jemma i have the same gt tdi 2005 and wanting to remap it. Have u had any issues with the map or turbo?

@@Sava93ghost only about 4 months. It was my brother's car before, he had the remap done. Funny you should say that actually, it's had a weird issue with the turbo just last week. It won't accelerate passed 60 mph and it takes a while to get there. I am waiting for a MAF sensor to see if it's that. It idles rough when it plays up too. But it's only done it twice out of about the last 20 drives. It's as if the turbo isn't engaging and feels like it's gasping for air. Hopefully changing the sensor sorts it.

mine is a 2003 only 90k on the clock "almost"looks like new,drives like new,,i dout id ever "map it" as i feel the 140bhp is plenty and that its probably pushed enough,if i consider other 2.0ltr D ive driven,,its well fast

Hello piano guy it was mapped about 13 years ago my lad had it done all I can say is it was only a mild remap equivalent to a stage one map at todays level but highly recommended to have diesel's done just for the extra torque 👍😊

Yes I agree the pd engines are the best but the one in this mk 5 golf is the bdk 2.0 16v tdi and it delivers the power and torque brilliantly with the map 💪👍thanks for the comment by the way 😊
