That ring with the large stone might have belonged to a high ranking clergyman, also I think a ground disturbance radar scan of that site should be considered . It could be an important battle field. Some of those combined finds add up to a tumultuous event. High end horse furniture etc. I would check the topography, imagine battle formations, lines of retreat, consider where a baggage train might be tucked out of sight, Aa Ordinance Survey map might help.
