im a writer and i decided to get this over the freewrite line of machines. never had any regrets. Remarkable 2 is an amazing devices whether you are a handwriter or a typewriter.

I think this review finally gets the point. I don't own a tablet. But the Remarkable is still viable because it has a completely different purpose than these other more complicated tablets like Onyx. The whole point of the Remarkable is that it is focussed on doing anything you can do with paper to replace the paper experience. As soon as you ad in internet surfing, lighting, videos, etc etc you are totally complicating the whole thing -- then why not just use your computer then. No point of a tablet like that in my opinion which is why I never owned one. What I want is something that feels close to paper but that replaces my journal, files, and lists. I'll still uses files, day planner, and journal for some things. But this Remarkable thing looks like it will be practical for consolidating a lot of these uses in certain ways and do it so well it actually organizes live rather than cluttering it with an extra object or device. I'm a minimalist but this looks like it actually merits the addition. Looking forward to trying it. One thing though: how easy is it to export files to email and other devices. If you need to pay them monthly to do that that's a big Downer.

I bought my reMarkable 2 soon after they came out. I use it daily and still love it! Other e-ink tablets seem to be basically tablets. The reMarkable focuses on being a notetaking device and doing it really well.

I never regretted buying the remarkable 2. I'm using it daily as I'm writing very much. It was expensive but I've always wanted one since they released the first remarkable.

Mine is due to be delivered tomorrow and I really appreciate the comments in here because I was kinddddd of second guessing my purchase. Can’t wait until it arrive I hope I love it just as much as you all!

Just bought a RM2, can't wait to have it! I am already in love with the concept and the execution. Soooo good and exactly what I need, I think sketching on paper all the time and it always ends up disorganized. Simplenote came to help but RM2 is a whole new level of organization.

I also found, that there's no BETA available anymore. I always used it. Since most recent update I also realized that it responds much quicker to almost every task.

Had one and sent it back after 5 weeks for a refund. Writing to text conversion was horrible, and the screen resized randomly when writing. The latter issue they never acknowledged there was a problem really, much less came up with a fix. Yet they kept sending me emails asking where I was with it and asking me to rate their CS. Refund policy was seamless though

Nice content! Am sitting on the fence on getting this. The purpose of my getting is mostly for work, where I need to complete a 4 page checklist to record findings etc and have it uploaded into a server and email a copy to the person I am checking against. Can anyone give some input on this? Thanks

The stylus is mind-bogglingly expensive. Your demo give the impression that it doesn't properly register pen strokes, which is not the case. Works very well. This device has a very specific purpose and should not be compared with feature-rich competitors. I love it for its simplicity, and the fact that it can be used 100% offline.

I was looking at this for my wife but watching this I noticed that quite often it missed clicks and some writing just missed. Kinda turned me off a bit.

Do these E-readers support languages that are written from right to left, such as Hebrew and Arabic? I'm looking to buy one of these, but half of my pdf's are in these languages.
