Hi Psi, I haven't watched the whole video yet but just for your info, you can request pdf preview copies of Pathfinder books if you have a certain number of subscribers (I believe 1k, so you should qualify). Paizo won't always provide one but that is where I got mine. I know it can feel bad to watch everybody cover stuff you wanted to cover first, it's happened to me too and can be very anxiety-driving! But there isn't a ton of Pathfinder KZbin content so I think everything is valuable, even if it is staggered over a few days.

How would I go about opening channels like that?

This is good fresh content, when everyone is /mostly/ just reading from the book or comparing them to the old ones, diving deeper is way more rewatchable! Also, benefit of not being first, is you can "mine" details from multiple sources and catch things others missed!

I kinda want to see elemental plane dragons.. like Imagine a "Smoldering Dragon" from the plane of fire A long Eel like Electrical "Serpent Dragon" from the plane of water A Fantastical "Dryad Dragon" from the plane of wood A Ernie "Mist Dragon" from the plane of air The Small Golem crafting/commanding "Molding Dragon" from the plane of earth And finally the "Forge Dragon" from the plane of metal I'd love to hear other ideas... or even if someone smarter than me made rules for these... or perhaps pathfinder does something with element dragons.

I think a good antagonist omen dragon idea could be: they see the party destroying a town in their vision but, they don't have the context in their vision to know that the town was actually a secret cult of some evil god. Would give the dragon motivation to stop the party and not believe them about the cult because why would it disbelieve its own vision of the future?

upside to the remaster is that, if you want to use DnD-style dragons in PF2r, you can still use them as legacy monsters

This was the best video year, thanks! Am starting a campaign, and I was going to have 1/5 town leaders be a dragon… but now they all will be! Seems like a fun way to use the dragons and let the players decide what to do with them.

This was a fun video i liked seeing the different interpretations of dragons and how to use them in a plot. Think the Omen dragon was my favorite, especially its strange time bending powers.

Great video and first time viewer here! I'm trying to pull together some ideas for a Draconic Sorcerer and then I realized that I don't actually know what the new dragon's *deal* is, so the vid (as well all the bonus ideas) are very much appreciated. In specific, I wanted to point out the Omen Dragon; love the idea of a dragon who's so determined to avert some disaster that they go on to actually cause the tragedy.

Thanx so much for including all the referenced videos. Much respect for saving you video with all the exposure occurring. PFc¹ also killed two saved cows which where considered for PF2 originally: 01 · Removal of or making optional the Alignment system. 02 · Replace Attribute Score with just the Attribute Bonus. ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ¹PFc · PathFinder Core (Remastered) Rules/Books

Great video, really helps me crystallise on how to use these new dragons. And also really hyped to make my own dragons in this new paradigm with arcane, primal, divine, and occult dragons.

I don’t know how the book describes the Horned Dragon, but I would imagine it as a protector of the natural world. It’s compulsion would be to protect wild creatures (especially endangered species) and maintain ecological and environmental balance. While these seem like good and noble traits, this dragon could easily end up as an antagonist to people. I imagine it generally tries to avoid direct conflict, but it uses powerful magic to cause catastrophes for nearby encroaching settlements in the form of natural disasters (earthquakes, tornados, typhoons, floods, etc.).
@PsiPrimeProductions19 ай бұрын
I mean, you could certainly run them that way. That’s not how they are written, but you could run them that way.

@@PsiPrimeProductions1 Yeah, just my thoughts. It seems like the most obvious route to take a primal dragon in.

I figure the Empyreal Dragon's "Draconic Personification" is more that of the "Noble Dragon" type you see in some movies, but I see where you are going with the protective aspect.

I get the impression you are upset that other people got stuff out first but I have only seen one of the three video's you mentioned. For me that was a good video. Lots of concept ideas for using the dragons along with a very quick look at some information rather than just focusing on the actual numbers.
@PsiPrimeProductions19 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t say upset, just a little frustrated. Sorry if I gave off the wrong impression.

@@PsiPrimeProductions1 The one thing I would say is just because you are not the first to cover something does not mean you are not the first one your audience will see. Sure PF2 has a smaller fan base but I only follow one of the other three channels you mentioned making this the second video on Dragons that I saw.
