+knightlitesoldier Uhm, guys? You know that X and Zero haven't changed and that they looks different from the Mega Man X serie because Capcom only changed style, do you? So, technically, they're still the same as they were in Mega Man X, only drawn in a different manner.

You don't expect for Zero to be same looking robot especially after being sealed for so long? No, plus I would have to say that the Ciel's Cyber-Elf also plays a sort of role on Zero's change of appearance as well. As for X, well he was barely he even alive, all he could do was hold on to little life he had left and just hold himself together, until you know who decided it was okay to pull the plug

+knightlitesoldier I'm aware of all you said, but maybe you misunderstood my comment: I was trying to say that Zero did not change physically, he was not rebuilt in a different manner, it's only that Capcom changed the style of the characters; so, technically, Zero still looks the same as he did in Mega Man X, he was only drawn with a different style. The same for X, as we see his body in MMZ2, and Copy X is a PERFECT copy of our hero, except for the eyes.

I know but you remember that their bodies are eventually going to deteriorate and not look the same and Ciel's attempt to create a Copy of X was based on what she knew about him and stories she heard. Zero nobody knew a "Zero" nobody even remembers him except older reploids and elders. And Remember in MMX 1-3 his appearance also varies a bit, so it wouldn't be a surprise that he had some other change of appearance in MMZ. What I'm saying is that their is a logical reason for why they actually changed looks. You just have to remember that some of the things that went on before and during the last two games.

+knightlitesoldier Well, in X2 Serges upgraded each Zero's part, making so that he looks different than he does in X1. But in MMZ he looks different because the character designer changed. It is not due to Zero becoming old; in fact, you can see that people and the very world they live in don't look as they did in X. It's like it happened in X4. Ah you speak of "Omega" from ZX, I like to refer to that one as "Omega Soul" as he is just residual materialized data, I say that because if you leave the area and return...he respawns, and his skills are more evolved than his MMZ3 counterpart, Life Shaver has been my bane with him in ZX.

There's Zero's original body, there's Zero's body AFTER Weil modified it 100 years prior and there's the copy body. The modified Zero body was able to utilize the Dark Elf and was stored inside the bigger Omega body. There ya go.
