A lot of people find Repole obnoxious, but he has amazing energy! A total confident go-getter and has owned some great ones. I love Fierceness and have been on his bandwagon all year, but City of Troy is my boy. Make no mistake though, Fierceness is supremely talented.

For me COT looked very impressive in winning The Derby but dropping back down once a horse has climbed that mountain it's not always straightforward when they're dropped back down in distance. It's funny but remember how gd Galileo was at Epsom & then bombed at The Breeders Cup & Galileo for me looked much better on the eye but Aiden swears COT's the best he's ever trained & I know he has said the very same about other horses down the years but he just seems different about COT! It's poised nicely for it all to unfold tonight eh?
