Remember 1.00 Havakiri? - God Eater 3

Playing GE3 Version 1.00 with a physical copy of the game without any updates installed.
Okay, so if you don't know, Havakiri was changed quite a bit in 1.20.
I remember writing a huge video description somewhere about how 1.00 Havakiri wasn't designed in line with the formula of a God Eater game so it kind of made fighting her a problem. Her attacks were too fast, there weren't reliable devour windows and she had a lot of HP for a mid size.
The game itself also had problems that made Havakiri even more irritating to fight.
Watching this video you should be able to spot them immediately - player attack speed, guard speed, devour speed and movement speed was increased significantly in updates 1.20 to 1.40. This came alongside big weapon balance changes and a reduction to input delay.
These updates really, really changed the way GE3 felt and I remember falling in love with the game when the guard speed update hit. It's not a stretch to say that GE3 was a very different game back then and everyone who outright threw the 1.00 version of the game in the trash back then should give it another proper try if they want their opinion to remain valid.
Anyway, when Havakiri was touched up in 1.20, it was mostly her AI and the speed of SOME of her attacks that were changed. She never used to do the spin attack as much as she does now and she used to run around a hell of a lot more as well.
I also remember saying that the right arm overhead lighting attack was unreactable back then. I was being a scrub and you kinda can react to it, but the input delay really catches you because you can't fuzzy guard it like you can Winged Pita's left wing swipe.
The main reason why Havakiri felt a lot different post 1.20 was more because of the changes to the speed of the gameplay system and less due to Havakiri actually being nerfed. In any case, the biggest and most important thing is that she became fun to fight.
But still, when she got nerfed, I remember people actually complaining about it.
Saying things like, "The game is already easy so why nerf" and stuff like that. At the time I just chalked it up to modern day outrage culture reacting to the word 'nerf' without actually understanding what's happening because 1.00 Havakiri was yikes.
Then it happened again, I recently stumbled upon a thread of people talking shit about 1.00 Havakiri, saying stuff like now that they're more proficient at the game they must bring her back so they can body her free.
I know that some of the people who said this like to just say things to pass time, but 1.00 Havakiri isn't exactly on the scale of Fun x Difficult because she shows you all of the worst parts of the 1.00 version of the game in 1 fight.
I digress though. Been meaning to record this one for a while and here we are.
Pretty spicy of me to release such a sloppy clear after all that shit I talked in the description of my last video, huh?
You're not wrong, but I don't want to get good at GE3 1.00 and I don't want to get good at 1.00 Havakiri so you can hold this one tightly.
