Her song was already pretty kick-ass she really didn't need to use mind-control to bring in fans, hell, if she HADN'T used mind-control and was just a ghost rocker she would've been an over-all better character. TBH, I really like this sort of origin for Ember from Danny Phantom. I almost forgot that ghosts were people too and that each ghost in the ghost zone probably has an origin of their own. I guess the only one we really think of is Pointdextexter because they show his origin in the show itself.

I've always wondered how many of the ghosts in DP died and why they became the ghosts that they are like 'young blood' maybe he was a lonely rich kid who had to entertained himself with his wild imagination and his only friend/playmate was his personal butler(the animal ghost who's always with him) and do to his parents neglect he resented adults so when he died(most likely as a child and along with his butler) he became 'Young blood' the ghost

You know growing up and rewatching this show I always thought the ghosts were all just actual angered spirits like the powers they have and their appearance based off their life like the lunch lady hated her life and either offed herself at work or died in a work accident Johnny 13 and kitty are more obvious, the box ghost is a warehouse worker that died probably due to a pile of boxes collapsing, youngblood was a neglected child who died while playing make believe most likely playing pirate. Idk if I'm just looking too much into this kid show but I found it interesting
