Fun fact: high heels were originally made for men! The Persian calvery wore a boot with a heel as they were riding horseback as it helped secure their feet to the Stirrups of a horse. Cowboy boots are an example of modernisation. Also Jordan just seems really sad by how deep he's fallen into the incel ideology. Like he's trying to build an argument against women having any control over their reproductive system or choice of partner. It makes no sense. If only he focused on his own happiness instead of dictating women's happiness based on his ridiculous views he may actually find some happiness for himself. Clearly he feels shame after he has a night in with his hand. And For someone who says "what does that mean, we don't know" so much, if he doesn't understand the data, he shouldn't speak on it. Also perhaps he should actually have a conversation where he listens to a "female" person/s about their bodies to broaden his very misogynistic views on what women should and should be allowed to do. As if he should have a say to begin with.

I do agree with some part of that argument though. The idea that someone or something could "distribute sex" is fucked up and definitely only appealing to incels, but I still think we are collectively making ourselves more depressed and pessimistic by filling our heads with impossible beauty standards, mainly through social media and TV/Movies, and you have more people than ever with stress problems, eating disorders or straight up depression because they beat themselves up over their appearance. But the part that I don't get is that he's essentially saying we should be more open-minded and less judgmental about beauty and sexuality but then when magazines do harmless shit like show large women in bikinies JP and his gang go batshit fucking crazy over it. Like he's literally advocating that society should be less demanding of men in beauty standards but then he shits all over women for doing the same thing.

@@Jadinass Not sure if people are stupid in the west or what ? This is basic reasoning and logic. He is putting forth an EXTREME solution to solve a complicated problem - he does not mean women shall not wear makeup at all. He then lists out why make up would increase sexual harassment in the workplace due to subtle psychological effects it has on men. And if this extreme solution would probably not fix the problem, then how on earth can companies claim they could fix it by imposing ridiculous and unfair workplace rules on men ? He is playing the devil's advocate. Telling people that the problem is actually more complicated than they think. People usually think "it is because of all men", but they never know there are other factors contributing and so complex that its insanely difficult to solve. A seemingly simple question like "How to stop sexual harrassement in the workplace" cannot be answered with a simple answer. "So where can the line drawn ?" is one of peterson's question. Because "what is a harrassment and what is not?"Apparently, it is already a harrassment just because a women 'feels' she is harrassed. Legalizes something based on subjective feeling is not right. It is similar to hate speech. "how do you define hate speech?", just because you are offended doesnt mean there hate speech. if you want to make it a law you have to draw a clear line, and being subjective wouldn't do you any good.

This just made me realize something as an autistic person... that my shame and guilt around being promiscuous is because: being on the spectrum as a woman you tend to want to follow social guidelines and these ideas are still kinda ingrained in society. I learned at a young age that it’s not good to be “sexual”, that you can get the wrong attention and some men will see you and want you because you’re “being sexy” or “dressing sexy” and you shouldn’t want that attention. While that’s true that you should be careful as a young girl, it honestly just tell you “you need to look out for men and how you get attention from them, it’s bad to want to be promiscuous”. And I took that to heart because when you’re masking you want to fit in, so you follow what people say. This comment just made me realize that maybe it’s not just that my autism affects my sexuality, but social norms also play a part of why my sexuality is conflicting or confusing to me. I have though been coming a long way with trying to follow my own opinions and thoughts more than other people. I tend to end up feeling kind of torn because I am very empathetic towards others and I have a hard time standing my ground on things. I think though I definitely have been picking up on how to stand my ground more. I’m still just not very articulate or something in putting my thoughts and ideas into words. Honestly though watching these videos has finally put my ideals down that I can stand up to others and not be confused on what I’m saying.

A week later during my group I had another resident tell me I “pulled it out of him” so it’s my fault for getting upset because I forced the guy finish what he was saying and then i had a talk with him about respect and boundaries. I am so sick of this shit I have to work so hard to gain basic levels of respect and I REFUSE to sacrifice my sense of style or my right to self expression so I come to work wearing bomb ass peplum dresses. I come to work wearing high heels, If someone says some dirty shit to me, that’s THEM, THEY said that... Idk why some ppl believe the victim should be interrogated instead of the harasser People who tell you to wear baggy clothes are basically telling you to get a shield But the real solution to end the conflict is to remove the sword from the harasser. From my perspective I see it that these perpetrators should be dealt with first but maybe baggy clothes can be a start I view it kinda like covid, it's a problem that should be dealt with but it's extremely hard to get rid of, just like sexual harassment. In the meantime of this conflict, some protection would be good Anyways that's enough for my weird take
