Initial stages of meditation, all deities are required. Ganapati represents Muladhara. Without Ganapati, Kundalini won't go above Muladhara. Once Kundalini reaches the Sahasrara for a brief moment, then you can aim for Vishnu. Else it'll be a poor connection with Vishnu (144p). Only if all deities are worshipped, Vishnu can be seen in 4k Ultra HD.
