SwaggerLikeMe2009 Rivers, Gates, and Tomlinson did their fair share to earn it. Spanos and the Chargers front office is a different story. I imagine being a Chargers fan is worse than being a Browns fan. Because at least the Browns had somewhat of a dynasty in the 1950s.

T. gates in his prime sproles, Vincent Jackson, Malcolm Floyd, They lost because of a fumbled punt and Marlon mcree not meaning down after the interception. They had better numbers offensively than the pats ALL YEAR. we all know the pats have always been well coached. Troy brown was their best receiver that year. Not dynamic at all.

It’s so crazy the chargers never even got to a Super Bowl with any of these teams thru the 2000s. The talent was unbelievable. Simply a cursed franchise. Sad to call myself a chargers fan. I’ll never switch up tho. Now we got Harbaugh. Really just hope we don’t squander Herbert’s career the way we did rivers. Not that it matters tho. The glory days of the league are over, games being softened and every year the game seems more and more fixed. 2000s football will forever be the 🐐ed time, and we all watched it pass on as if we’d never lose it. It would be real nice to go back and relive this nfl without ever knowing what had happened. Sad sad sad

I remember that game quiet well. It was maybe the only time when Nate Keading was perfect in the playoffs. Too bad everyone else had a torn ACL or a notable injury that basically killed the game before it even started. Talking about the Chargers and their luck.....

First , how dare you suggest that Rivers shouldn't have played for the Chargers ? Second , if Brees and A Rodgers are so great then why do they only have one ring apiece? If Rivers wins one Super Bowl then he ties Rodgers, Brees instantly . For crying out loud the AFC had Belichek and Brady, Roethlesburger, Peyton Manning to beat every year . No shame whatsoever in Philip Rivers career . Rodgers and Brees get the headlines but they don't play in multiple Super Bowls. What team is Rivers gonna play for besides the Chargers to get a ring ? Baltimore ? Your statement is basically blaspheming the Chargers and as a Chargers fan I say .........My God what a great quarterback Philip Rivers turned out to be .

Terio Booker yes and no I mean he definitely had bad luck for sure but at the same time his play calling was terrible. Going for it on 4th down when he didn't need too. Passing the ball when they would usually run on certain situations during the regular season. The pats always play there game even in the playoffs it's why they always win while other teams do and try different things that don't work. Had he stuck with his normal play calls plus the bad luck with the fumble they would have won ya know
