I imagine he looks down on earth to view His bright coloured birds and animal life He made, even His beautiful people like Raudha. We humans just wonder in awe at His Creations. Most of the comments in this video don’t make sense. This young lady was killed out of jealousy. Authorities in my country lied… Raudha didn’t take her own life, her Kashmiri roommate poisoned her to death. Her father should’ve done a proper background check before sending her off here to study overseas. Bangladesh… is not even safe for its own women, how can foreign women stay safe here ??? If her father was going to send her here, he should’ve had her enrolled in a private medical college here in the capital city, Dhaka instead of a Sharia law-based ‘medical college’ in Rajshahi that could possibly have ties and connections with Islamist extremists. She would’ve still been alive today, if she ever decided to study right next door, in India. I just hate the fact : most people in this country will always ridicule you or make judgemental comments about you, specially if you’re different from them in every way, both inside and out. What’s normal in our eyes, is completely “taboo” in theirs. If your nails are long and painted with nail colour, if you have permanent tattoos on your skin, if you have your belly/brows/tongue/lower lip pierced, if you dye your hair in cool, funky colours they’re not used to (examples : neon green, bright yellow, electric purple), if your skirt’s length is short enough to expose the knee caps, if your t-shirt/bodycon dress/jumpsuit is too tight-fitting enough to hug your skin, if you wear skinny jeans with a shorter top, if your saree’s blouse’s neckline/backline is too deep, if your tops or dresses are sleeveless/off-shouldered/single-strapped… they will slap derogatory labels like : “satan”/“whore” on you and get away with it ! Despite these hijabs/burqas being optional, the dress code here is just way too harsh on girls and women; swimsuits in beach resorts and other tourist spots across this country have been banned, specially for local women. By the time a girl hits puberty here, members of her family start forcing her to dress more conservatively, given the fact : her body starts going through certain physical changes. My midi-skirts and one-piece swimsuits were taken away from me by the time I turned 11. I was forced to wear loose, baggy clothes throughout my teenage years. No matter what I wear, my grandmother and my father will never stop criticizing me. Raudha was lucky to have a family that supported her dreams and goals. I always wanted to become a model as well as a pastry chef but my family… never bothered to support me and even made several dirty attempts to get me forcefully married off to random strangers which failed repeatedly when I continued to raise my voice to stand up for myself !! I still hope Raudha’s father finds the strength and courage to move on from this tragedy. No father in this world should ever have to go through a traumatic experience like this. May her soul find peace in the afterlife 💐

So sad but truthfully I am with the family . She was probably murdered by the girl who " discovered" her. It's sad to think that jealousy could make a person want to kill or hurt someone but it happens everyday. Whoever did this will pay for it and God will judge them when their time comes. The video maker here just made a content without knowing the issue thoroughly. In the capital city, you can visit some areas where many girls are in modern outfits. Jeans & t-shirts are very common. Most of the girls wear salwar kamij & saree in a modern way. Many wear hijab too. There’s many Muslim that think anyone who doesn’t follow the rules is bad and it might also happen from a jealousy of her Muslim female friends because she doesn’t have to follow that strict religion clothing rules. I'm Maldivian. I remember this being talked all over the news for a good amount of time. New details kept surfacing every week, mostly related to her activities the days which followed up to her passing. Can't remember much of the details, but one thing I do remember is that she and her friends were preparing to celebrate her upcoming birthday. The police here didn’t take any legal actions against this Seerat Parvin, even after Raudha’s dad pleaded them to. The police here don’t ever punish women who kill other women out of jealousy.

This is extremely worrisome because girls and women here continue to suffer from the hands of misogynistic boys and men as well as from the hands of other girls and women who are jealous of them. For example : If you use vehicles as a transportation system in this country, it’ll be too difficult for you to find a female driver on the streets because, almost all the vehicles are taken away by men and many of them are just… terrible at driving ! Strictness towards girls and women in Bangladesh many close-minded Bangladeshis don’t want you to know : people from the past generations often put them under pressure to dress conservatively and even if hijabs/burqas are entirely optional here, there are still many families (specially in the rural areas of this country) who put their daughters and nieces under pressure to keep their heads fully covered in public. Swimsuits and other western garments for girls over the age of 10 are banned here, once a girl reaches puberty and goes through certain physical changes, members of her family force her to wear loose clothes to cover her whole body and by the time she steps into her teenage years, she isn’t allowed to date or have boyfriends ! Girls in rural areas are just as unlucky as their counterparts who live in urbanised areas… as, child marriage still continue to be a huge problem here. Child marriage in rural areas increased significantly during the time of covid. Female madrasa teachers even frown upon adolescent girls, just for putting on nail polish !! I myself… was also shamed, ridiculed and discriminated for wearing western garments even after crossing the age of 10 back in 2002.
