Remember the old Non Aircon SBS Transit Bus?

Maxson Goh Films a Complete Showcase of the Fully Retired Non Aircon 1993 Volvo Olympian 2 Axle Buses with Walter Alexander Royale Bodywork and Voith Gerbox. This is the last type of Non Aircon buses in SBS Transit and it's retirement marks the end of the era of non Air conditioned public buses in Singapore.

Leyland Olympian has all been retired since April 2013, the routes now use similar looking Volvo Olympian buses.

bro, lemme explain. Each buses have a lifespan of 10 to 20 years. the engine is to old to function properly and it doesn't last quite long. and plus, these leyland olympian buses(2 axels) were introduced in 1993.

That was when bus fares for the non air conditioned buses are cheaper, I paid exactly 33 cents for traveling less than 3.2 km. Too bad SBST announced its retirement - wished to see more now, save some money on the bus fares, experience the air when the bus is moving... but alas, they scrapped the non air conditioned buses and the bus fares for non air conditioned buses. What a waste of good old 'environment saver buses'... my favorite moment was pressing the button on one of the side windows in the upper deck and in the middle of the bus. Way to go glitchfan2428!
