My friend since daycare has passed away this past Thursday as a hero. I'm a senior in high school and I told him when school started "From daycare to senior year". He was supposed to graduate with me this year but unfortunately he never made it. He died saving another friend from drowning. It was pure silence at my school on Friday. We had a football game and the marching band and I played our hearts out for him. We made 3 touchdowns in a row as it started to rain. We won in his name. This coming Friday we have another game and a pep rally at school. The school and fellow students of mine are doing something to remember him during the pep rally. Kendall was his name. I will sing this song to myself that day.

Alex Trochez Similar story to my father. He was around 12 or 13 in 1968 or 69’. He lost his best friend when he drowned saving his little sister. My dad was only in 6th grade going to 7th over the summer

When you are standing beside your friend's grieving mother at the funeral that is when you were brothers. I did that for my best friend who was killed by a drunk driver, his mom never let go of my arm and stained my suit with her tears. I promised him that day I would take care of her like my own mother and 10 years later I am still keeping that promise.

I lost someone in my grade 2 years ago and it devastated my friends. These people in my grade, I grew up with them, they are like siblings and to loose one to cancer, it killed us all. Went to the funeral, didn't really hit me that he was gone until I was in almost every picture they showed. Its been 2 years. His best friends still sing his favorite songs, still act like he's around. I keep waiting for him to walk in the door of our classroom and be like goodmorning guys. It never happens, but he will be honored when we graduate

Sure, it may be a little immature to rub it in everybody face, but hey, ask if I give a crap what you think, because honestly... I don't

Even though we quit talking like 6 days ago? Doesn't make sense...
