Actually, virtually every political jurisdiction has some kind of voting and representative governance, and the majority of countries have degrees of republican democracy that would be very familiar to the U.S., with most of the rest still affording other forms of dignity to their people. And engineering-types should easily see that none of the democracies really work according to specifications. They all necessarily devolve into biggest-player power games, not unlike Agar.io, that primarily run on propaganda. What keeps everybody quiet, stable, and manageable is the perception of relative technological progress. Despite the passion of STEM people, the teaching institution as a whole is now actively working against that goal by sending their unlucky students chasing after quasi-religious social ideologies.

i think it's important to not vote unless you've educated yourself properly, because if you just vote on an uneducated whim, you're just going to vote for the best scam artist.

Voting democrat or republic is stupid. Neither party wants to fix any of the problems because then they wouldn't have anything to blame each other for come election day. Not to mention your presidential vote doesn't matter considering that comes down to electoral vote which consists of 538 people that is made up of 435 Representatives, 100 Senators, and 3 electors. So basically congress gets to choose who will be president. It gets even better when you find out what gerrymandering is. Representatives THE BULK of who make up the electoral vote are elected via district. These districts can be broken up in convoluted ways as to give one party a statistical advantage which republicans have managed to exploit for like the past 40 - 50 years. A state that is majority democrat can still lose to a republican because of gerrymandering. The electron system is broken and no one wants to fix it when they figure out "HEY I CAN USE THIS TO WIN". Whether you want to vote republican or democrat is your choice just know that they're not different, they're both evil and corrupt. Democrats manipulate you by giving you what you want but since when do any of you know what you actually want? Republicans use fear mongering to get to you but they really don't care about you they just care about their own wallets.

Alex Quaesar yeah not voting is truely the smartest thing that only a intellectual would do. why bother. I am so anticorruption that i can't see variations in corruption anymore. both parties are exactly the same. no difference at all. That's how anti-corruption I AM. /s ^^^this is moronic voting for any party and expected that to solve everything is really what you should be saying. just because they are both taking money from big donors doesn't mean they govern the same. your reason for voting democrat is hilarious. 'they give you what you want but you don't know what you want'?

I exercise early voting to avoid crowds and lines. How ever I’m the USA you have the right to “Choose” to vote or not. Only vote if you truly believe in the candidates and their policies, otherwise your just wasting time.
