I have a theory, in his character story we have a blocked part called ¨Vision shell¨, and as I saw in the trailer a vision was being reactivated so it may be that the vision responded to him, as Kazuha said ¨When people are forced into a corner that is when their greatest strength will appear¨ this gives me to see that Kazuha did not die but it may be that the vision of his friend has saved him in some way.

I don't think he will die. In my opinion, Baal is trying to confiscate Tomo's vision to be put in the statue, of course she will also try to steal Kazuha's but Kazuha put on a fight. However, he was not able to protect both of the visions, so Baal got Tomo's vision, and this will complete the slots for the visions on that wings (remember Touma's vision was supposed to be in there for the 100th commemoration of the vision hunt decree but we saved him). Completing the 100th vision the statue's wings then shines (whatever the reason is why it shines lol). Just my opinion though, or just me refusing to believe Kazuha's demise. No, he won't.

@@amberxv4777 Have you played through the chapters? its not just Himeko they killed. they killed Kallen and Yae including the non playable characters such as Wendy the Herscherr of Wind, Cecilia, Siegfried, Tianwu Cheng the Herscherr of the Stars (Owl) and Ana Shariac the Herscherr of Ice. Mihoyo killing one character in Genshin is just an average field day for Honkai players.

Yae says "Some ambitions have the power to heal wounds, to bring victory" right before Kazuha against Baal and while we see his friend's vision (A hydro vision is shown as well). I doubt miHoYo would put this line while showing a scene right before a character's death, the most that'll happen to him is an injury and if he does get close to death or get injured his or his friend's vision might heal him (The hydro vision that was shown could possibly save him as well) Yae states in the 2.0 trailer that to have your vision taken away is the same as being robbed of your ambitions, so I'm assuming to her ambitions are similar or equal to visions (Sorry if I don't make sense English isn't my first language-)

If y'all read the "vision shell" part in Kazuha's story lines (which isn't unlocked yet), you can actually read it on honey hunter. It says that his friend's vision was rekindled for a brief moment during that great battle between Raiden and Kazuha. Then suddenly the lines start to talk about Kazuha's life in past tense, like "In life there were seasons of hopelessness and desperation" and now i am scared because the fact that this indicates something that i don't want...
