A fitting tribute to a legendary artist...coincidentially, Swamp Thing's other co-creator, Len Wein, also died in 2017 (on 10 September, nearly six months after Wrightson's death). May Wrightson and Wein both continue to rest in peace...they are still missed.

I loved Bernie's art since his House of Mystery, DC horror/ghost tiles. And of course the Swamp Thing #1. His art was so beautiful yet horrifying to me as a 8/9 year old. I just wish he had drawn the Hulk comic. Besides just the cover to Hulk #196 with the Man-Thing & Glob. As we;; as the inks on a Gil Kane cover. For the Dead of the Night #11 drawn by Gil Kane but inked by Bernie. The Scarecrow was a totally wasted supernatural hero. If Marvel would of given him his own monthly title. Drawn by say Mike Ploog or Gene Colan inked by Tom Palmer it would of been like their Ghost Rider a huge hit. A shame Bernie couldn't of did that as a monthly title too. The two novel version of the House of Mystery in 1973 rocked too. Bernie''s rt with very creepy tales.

He has also drawn, inked and coloured the Marvel Graphic Novel #22 with Spider-Man in a very gore style, if you are interested ;) The Punisher: P.O.V., also with Jim Starlin, is very underestimated.

Batman The Cult is still one of my favourite stories of all time it came out when I was 12 and it was literally "flashlight under the bed sheets" reading for me

The Punisher: P.O.V. should also please you. It's also with Jim Starlin, drawn in the exact same style, coloured also by Bill Wray and it is very underestimated.
