When the old games go on Game Pass I'm downloading Modern Warfare Remastered and staying there until the servers shut down. All these old games will be populated again.

I hope that happens soon. I would love for them to have a breath of new life. There are still players but the player base is very small. If these games hit Gamepass, they will be guaranteed to see tons of new players.

Activision are terrified of this, it’ll severely damage the sales/ micro transactions income from the current games, it’s probably why we haven’t seen it happen yet

Cod 4 and Halo 3 was the golden era of console fps games. I'm not even a huge fan of the genre (more into RTS games and Racing or rpgs) but I played the crap out of Halo 3 and Cod 4 online. Good times, good times. The MLG lobby in Halo 3 was a blast, even managed to get level 50 in it.

Yeah I remember I played Cod 4 at a buddies house and I loved it. Then at home I looked up Cod 4 on youtube and found Blame Truth and Xcal and eventually got an xbox before MW2 came out.

xCal Blametruth and Hutch were the people I watched most too - I remember thinking xcal's gameplay was GODLY lol. Him and Sandy Ravage seemed almost unattainable skill wise to me as a noob

Agreed! I learned a lot about getting better at COD from watching xCal and Sandy but man they were leagues above the rest of the competition.

I like videos like this that are sentimental and appreciative of what we had in Xbox 360 days. Although Black Ops 6 is coming out, I'm not very hopeful for multiplayer, maybe I'll check in for zombies, but who can say. I do really miss an era where we had a distinct art style and engaging combat for different play style. Please play Black Ops 1 next, it's my favourite. Love this video.

I still watch Blame Truth. Sure I wish he'd go back to how he used to be but then he'd get 2000 views a video. KZbin screwed him badly back in the day so he can chase that paper now and I won't judge him for it.

i was the same man, Hutch really introduced me to the youtube gaming niche on youtube, later discovering Machinima, seanners & sark and even moist critical back when he did gameplay commentaries and no one knew what he looked like haha

I missed out on the early days of Moist Critikal but I did enjoy those others. They were essential to my pre-teen to teenage development.
