It takes a very special person to not judge but even in the difficulty of understanding to support someone’s dream especially someone that you love and allow them to fulfill their purpose and I tilt my hat to his wife for supporting his dream. Because of it I’m inspired and invested as a drummer/musician because I have records I can still go back and listen to and this man’s legacy speaks louder than anything. I only wish I had the opportunity to know him but I thank God for the legacy that he left behind. ❤️🕊️🙏🏾

When I listen to Hammond's Radical for Christ or watch the Commissioned ReUnion I am always floored by this guy's radical attack on the drums. Every fiber of his being you know was being used.

It’s 2020 and I still miss Marvin’s playing. A man I’ve never met, lived thousands of kilometers away, impacted me so much when I was a kid playing in church. I even did cornrows like him at one point 😂😂😂 so sorely missed Sir 😭 Huge love to the McQuitty family from Durban, South Africa 🇿🇦

Wow! I used to hang out at Face to Face when he and my brother played with Fred Hammond. I was in the presence of several musical geniuses, and at the time, I didn't even realize it. Tommie and Marvin are most definitely rockin' it out in heaven! I can only imagine for now...
