Back in the late eighties I spent some time with Graeme when DB were recording their first album at Air Studios in London. He was a lovely guy (as they all were) but I remember many conversations sitting in the canteen with him during breaks in recording - each telling the other of our hopes and aspirations for the future. Very sad that he died so young. RIP Graeme.....we'll continue those conversations again some day.

Cruel to lose a talent at such a young age. As the post says we can remember and watch old footage but speaking to them is sadly gone.

A great guitarist, he never over played. A real skill. Deacon Blue were one of my first Bands, little did I know then I was drawn very much to the guitars and later moved on to stuff like Sonic Youth etc but there is a special place in my heart for his playing..

Crazy seeing my dad in that selection of clips. I have lots of fond personal memories with Graeme & DB. I cannot believe it's been 10 years.

A beautiful tribute to a great musician, so sadly missed. Time passes so quickly, but memories never fade. Thinking of Graeme's friends & family on this 10th anniversary. Remember - the music lives forever xx

What a lovely tribute. Quite emotional. Good to see the pics. Thanks to Graeme's family and DB for sharing them. Such a sad loss. His memory lives on though in his music and in our hearts. RIP Graeme.

Has it really been ten years already? Lovely compilation of photos and clips, and a wonderful song by way of a tribute, too-one of my favourites. Graeme is undoubtedly sorely missed, but leaves behind a wonderful and enduring musical legacy.

Great song and a fitting selection of photographs and video snippets... reminded me of when DB sang the song live at Glasgow Carling Academy and there was a special video backdrop as the band performed the song.
