Remembering Greer Garson - Secrets About An Old Hollywood Star.
Greer Garson, born on September 29, 1904, was a British-American actress renowned for her captivating performances on the silver screen during the mid-20th century. She is best remembered for her elegance, poise, and compelling portrayals of strong, resilient women in various acclaimed films.
Born Eileen Evelyn Greer Garson in London, England, Garson initially pursued a career in academia, studying at the University of London and later at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Random Harvest was my favorite Greer Garson film. I don't understand how you could overlook that 1942 film. Her performance was great as was Ronald Colman's.

Buddy and Greer absolutely adored that ranch in NM. They were so sad when they had to return much to the city to be nearest medical care for Buddy. They had many close friends in Santa Fe.

His name is spelled OLIVIER. Not OLIVER as you pronounce it. Not only her first Academy Award but her ONLY Academy Award. She Was a honey of a looker and a honey of an actress. James Agee wrote he would have loved to have seen her play Lady Macbeth, another kind of royalty aside from all of her noble women.
