I don't have time to read all the negative, or even positive comments. John stayed with us at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville. My assistant and I, ironically named Suzanne, followed him down the staircase leading to the entrance one morning. I loudly said "Wow, that's John Ritter!" He, of course, turned around and was one of the most sincere and kindest persons I have ever met.

They thought was hormonal but wasn't.. I cried the day John Ritter passed was so bad my dad even called me at school. My dad was so much like John! He loved the Beatles too. :) Eight Simple Rules I love too.. :) My two little cousins are now fans of the show threes company! It brings me light.. Suzanne Somers probably has had at least $50,000 worth of plastic surgeon, my guess? I don't think these two are really friendly with each other in real life. They talked like they hardly knew each other. I think they did this to just show respect for John Ritter . Suzanne Somers probably considered herself a diva back in the threes company days. Remember Suzanne Somers left the show early before it was done . She did make a fortune on all that exercise BS. I think I read that Suzanne is worth about $100 million!

I can feel a wall up with Joyce tho- towards Suzanne. I would have it too. At the time Suzanne coulda f-Ed things up for everyone. On the other hand she took a big risk on behalf of all women. Is that why she did it tho? Was she thinking of all women & the future of equal pay? Or at the time just thinking about herself & not her co-workers? Hmm….guess we won’t ever really know that.

It's apparent that Joyce DeWitt was good friends with John Ritter, as you can hear the emotion in her voice as she speaks of him. Of course, Joyce worked with him the entire series run. On the other hand, Somers seems to be going thru the expected motions as the host with her recollections. Funny that Somers has problems remembering the title of Ritter's hit show "8 Simple Rules", which Joyce clarifies for her (with a bit of an eye roll). Always loved Joyce DeWitt, she was a cutie pie on the show, and seems to be a very nice person off camera.

I always liked Suzanne on the show, but on here, being herself she seems bitter. Cold. Trying to act like she had trouble remembering the name of John Ritters show, how the threes company song went, come on now. Cut the act, it only makes you look like a cold bit@h! Joyce on the other hand was a sweetheart! Showed true genuine feelings when speaking about John Ritter. She’s just a sweetheart, warm person in general. RIP John Ritter you are missed.

Thank you. I was thinking I was the only one who thought that,. Joyce was super sweet and open and Suzzane was distant and guarded. Maybe that's just her personality. Maybe the stories of her being hard to deal with are true. All we have to go by is what they show us.

Nope. Joyce was a TRAINED TRAINED TRAINED ACTOR. She had the most formal skill. John's father was famous Tex Ritter which is how he got the role. Please do your research. Suzanne if you study had the LEAST of the training of the three and was the breakout star. She stole the show right out from under the other 2 which led to contract disputes. She was even on the cover of PEOPLE as the breakout star..

I've been waiting forever to see this reunion. It must be very difficult for both of them to speak about the past. It takes a lot of nerve to face a person that had hurt you so bad in the past. Kudos to the both of them for finally burying the axe. Along with John, you were both the best part of Three's Company. The other blonde actresses were okay, but never lived up to Suzanne Somers playing Chrissy.

When Joyce said that her brother had just passed earlier in the year, instead of (Suzanne) saying, "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that" or give something other form of sympathy, she acts cold as ice, asks two more cold inappropriate questions, and then talks about herself and her brother . Then another cold introduction with "John"..... Tacky

I started tearing up the moment she said "john". I grew up watching him. Not in threes company (I've actually never gotten into that) but 8!simple rules. I lost my dad as a child and I remember just loving the character of dad/Paul. He was one of the first celebrity deaths that truly effected me. I have to give such kudos to the way 8!simple rules handled his death. That was such a brutal episode, but it was done just as it should have been. You could really tell every cast member was genuinely grieving.

Three's Company was such a fantastically entertaining show. I was only 6 years old when I first started watching. No show has ever captured the wackiness, goofiness, and innocent "sexiness" of Three's Company. Jack was ALWAYS trying to get some action with any attractive girl within 10 feet but he was never an arrogant douchebag or stalking creep. It was actually endearing. This was part of the appeal: lots of sexual tension but NO sex whatsoever. It was truly a show for the comedic ages.
@steveleeart

The original cast of Three's Company was so perfect - such a range, all very talented and all clearly having the time of their life. So much energy. Love those early seasons of the show... too bad a reunion between these three didn't happen.... it would've been great to have seen Ritter on Big Bang Theory - I'm sure that would've happened! I got to see Carol Burnett a few years ago and asked if she had any stories or memories working with John on the film "Noises Off!" and she said he was always so nice, gracious with an amazing comedic timing. I loved him on "Hearts Afire" and followed him from project to project. I remember as a teenager in the 90s I had a chance to have done a workshop with him and I don't know why it didn't go through, some family conflict prevented it - it's one of those moments for me that you wish you could go back and make it happen. I still remember where I was when learned he died. Johnny Cash had died, and I was in my car when they said he was gone too..

A few comments. A. I do agree that Suzanne invited Joyce to her web show for ratings. My boyfriend and I recently met Joyce, Priscilla Barnes (a complete blast!!) and Richard Kline at a signing show. I mentioned Suzanne to Joyce, and mentioned 'Dancing with the Stars', and she simply said, "I don't go there…" I dropped it. B. I do agree with the post that life is too short to be negative, and the show provided laugh after laugh. I do think it's in the Top 5 of all time, particularly Season 5 with Lana, Furley and Chrissy, it's a classic season with Chrissy in full "pig tail" perfection. C. I do not like how Suzzanne said "no" to John for "Eight Simple Rules". She should have at least said, "Let's do dinner instead, me, you and Joyce…" Again, Priscilla Barnes is a blast, so much that I am appreciating the "Terri Years" on 'Three's Company' more now.
