Remembering Johnny Gaudreau & The Legacy He Created in Calgary (Ft. Julian McKenzie)

Julian McKenzie (The Athletic) joined me on today's episode to reflect on the life of Johnny Gaudreau. He and his brother, Matthew, were tragically killed in a cycling accident on August 29th. There have been a lot of vigils and ceremonies to help celebrate the lives of the Gaudreau brothers. Julian discussed the impact and legacy that Johnny Hockey had on the Calgary Flames.

From a Flyers fan respect! He did a lot for jersey / Philly community . But I loved Johnny for always repping the Philly teams the way he did breaks my heart his father never got to watch him put on the orange and black 😢

I'm a Calgarian. Yes I was sad to see Johnny go To Columbus but I was happy to find out why he wanted to be there. To be closer to his family. One of the things that Calgary has is the children's hospital and Johnny would go there multiple times every year. To bring up spirits for the children battling sickness. His spirit will live long in Calgary. Love you Johnny and Matty.
