I hope you're feeling better now, for us that love our pets so deeply, it can be very heart wrenching. It's so sad that they live just a few years, but at least he passed away being loved. There are lots of lovely pets in need of a loving and caring person like you! not as replacement of course, I wouldn't dare. But it would be a blessing for both to have each other at this time.
