I live in the US so her passing doesn't effect me as it does of you in the UK, but I grew up knowing that she was the queen. A monarch and ruler I learned about in elementary school well over a decade ago, she was someone who I kind of thought she'd be queen forever. So to those in the UK 🇬🇧 I don't feel the loss as you do but I do feel a loss not just for what I've lived my entire life with but a loss in that a chapter in history has now closed and a new one starts.
