John will be sorely missed. I heard him on my parents records before I met him at Los Angeles Valley College taking his Commercial Guitar classes in 1979 to about 1982 which pointed me in my music direction forward.

John was an inspiration to all who knew him how lucky we were to have him in the universe and his records thank God for that

My heart is broken, John and Genie have been dear to my parents since I was a child and I am saddened that my mom just told me tonight … he was amazing and I always pictured him playing at my wedding while I sang , my gosh ❤️❤️
