I have tears in my eyes for 2 reasons. 1. These great men take me back to my youth when I admired them for all the skills they displayed at a game I loved. Knowing they are gone hurts my heart. 2. Because for me baseball will never be the same and neither will our world. Great players, better humans. Rest In Peace gentlemen.

The world lost a great group of players last year and this year, Two players that we lost brought tears to my eyes watching this. Tom Seaver my favorite of all time, and Hank Aaron ! I grew up watching them ! They will be missed !

This was very emotional for me to watch. I grew up watching all of these players in the '60s and '70s with my Dad, who passed away ten years ago, and they will always be connected to my memories of him. Growing up in Atlanta, I watched Aaron and Niekro most frequently, but my earliest baseball memories are of watching Brock and Gibson in the 1967 World Series. My Dad admired players who played well, regardless of what team they played for, and he taught me why they were great players. May they all rest in peace.

There aren’t enough words in the English language to describe these men. These men may be great baseball players, but more importantly they are excellent human beings.

I can't add a thing to that. Perfectly stated, thank you.

God bless your soul Tommy Lasorda. Your 1988 Dodgers team pulled off what may have been the biggest upset in World Series history. You are deeply missed.

The Hall took quite a nasty hit during the past year & some were past 90 & most were past 80 as well. They lived good productive lives doing what they loved to do so look at it that way & be thankful you got to see them in their primes.

These men are deserving of many words but the best word I can say for them is there legends. I say this with empathy. Legends never die. Remember them for the memories they made on and off the field. Yes I say that because I lost my cousin last summer due to a drug overdose at 34 years old. I know that is a dumb comparison. Please bare with me. Because I will remember them for there contributions to baseball. But I will remember my cousin for the memories we shared together. Sad time for baseball. And my family. But mostly baseball.
