Famous JR Finish school first then talk, but let me educate you. In the year 1519 Hernan Cortez (Spanish Conquistador) and his men arrived to what is now called Mexico. He murdered the Aztecs, raped their women, and brought diseases. The remaining Aztec people were forced to adapt to the Spanish culture including to learn how to speak Spanish. Aztec's had a different language but no one knows what their origin language is because the Spanish erased it from them.

I really don't see the problem, there have always been latino rappers since the 90's. South Park Mexican, Lucky Luciano, Fat Joe, Big Pun, Cuban Link, and Noreaga because I think he's half latino. But anyways, Mexicans struggle in america too, just like the blacks but in a totally different way. But hey, thanks to white supremacy that screwed up with both races, blacks and latinos are expected to hate on each other for their skin color. So I think he have every right to rap about how hard he had it growing up in his neighborhood, especially a black neighborhood.

in the US we are our biggest critics because historically our people in the US have tried to be everything but Mexican, from being white washed to being black washed. In the 90s Kid Frost released "La Raza" because he noticed our people were ashamed to be Mexican & that brought some pride back. Now our people don't care about their culture/history, are quick to stand up for other people but not their own, are so ashamed of who they are that they are willing to fight their own before gaining understanding & knowledge of their history.

Kap G's DNA might reveal through a DNA test that he's part Spanish, Native American, etc; but his souls DNA is part African American. Because Some of our African American Brothers and sisters showed him love and treated Him like one of their own. Thanks to them they helped guide him into becoming the successful raper which he is today. All Mexicans and Mexican Americans should support and admire him. Because even though he may talk and act different he is still Mexican American with an African American soul. There's truly no crime in that. He grew up with his African American bros and sis possibly because it was part of his destiny. We shouldn't judge or hate him for that. He's a true romodel for our Mexican American youth. Showing then that they to can become somebody great in a world that lies to us making us believe that we can only go so far. So let's not judge him and accept him the way that he is. Human beings need to master the art of respecting each other's differences already.

Just as I am a proud Native American non-binary person. We are the same, indigenous people of the Americas. Also, what topped it for me was to see that he isn’t afraid to show and embrace his culture and spirituality. Him showing his visit to La Virgen de Guadalupe, as a person who grew up in Catholicism, and my native culture. I grew up knowing how important that image is to both our people. I’m glad he was proud to show that. That he’s humble, and greatful for the blessings of his talent. I fux with him now! Big ups lil homie. Continue to make your people proud! La Raza!

Jonathan Montiel we all grow in touch w our roots differently. my mother was raised by an English Irishman in America, but she's bilingual and knows where she comes from. I don't speak Spanish all that well because most of my friends were white and black. I have an accent when I speak Spanish but that doesn't make me any less Mexican. AND I'm fluent in German because my mom is half. get over it, in America it's usually multicultural in populated areas (ex. Atlanta, and California ), it's not like that in Mexico... youre either a bilingual, or speak only Spanish or only speak your native tongue.

When I would go to school most of the days its all about talking in English and u never know if his parents worked night shift and slept during the day so they probably didn't communicate as much. At least that was my case. I only spoke Spanish to my parents only to them. And when I went to Mexico I was forced to speak Spanish and even ppl in Mexico would tell me that I speak weird or that I have an accent. For that reason before I went to Mexico I didn't speak much Spanish. But now I do. You never know how he grew up don't judge. He isn't the only one

Mexican is not a race. There are native, White, Mestizos, Castizos, Black, Mulatos, etc.

Indigenous Pride!!!! I’m Native Paiute, Shoshone, Mvskoke, and Seminole. All indigenous people from the top of Canada, to the tip of South America. We been here, we still here, and we will always be here! We are all one people. It’s because of the white man and the division they created as to why most no longer recognize that.

"I thought the audience was gonna be people with cowboy hats and belt buckles…" LOL You're in Mexico City boy! A metropolitan four times the size of Atlanta. Why are so many americans ignorant? Are your schools that bad? I dig Kap G tho I'm just saying he sounded a bit ignorant saying that...

The native Language in Mexico City is actually Nahuatl, so he should start with Mexican spanish and move on to Nahuatl. Over 8 Million people in Mexico speak Nahuatl to this day.

Kap G! Ay man keep doing your thang my boy, I said it from the beginning if any Mexican rapper is going to make it big in this rap shit is going to be you. Fuck all these haters talking about you ain't Mexican enough or whatever, just do your thang. I grew up in L.A. listening to all the west coast legends, but it would of been nice growing up listening to a rapper of my color and heritage, and I think I speak for a lot of us. La raza needs you my dude, and we gon support you as long as you keep bringing that fire music.
@itsalan74037 жыл бұрын
You see here in texas I knew a few mexicans that remind me of him, talked in a certain way and stuff, I guess when people say this guy isn't 'mexican enough' they get reminded of that one mexican in school who'll neglect his roots and culture and feel shame about it. That Mexican I knew that talked like that and this neglected his actual roots. Here we have this guy who might not be "mexican enough" but he's not neglecting his actual roots and that's what it's all about, never forgetting your roots.
