When starting to watch this show, netflix had already confirmed a third season so the ending of season 2 shocked me and i didn't see how it could move on. This video is very useful to see the route the manga took to have an idea of what might happen next. I think that Arisu going back to the bordelands years later is an interesting and realistic opportunity, but at the same time extremely popular characters like Kuina and Chisiya wouldn't be in the third season, which is something that I don't see netflix doing as the ending so clearly shows that all the major characters made it out alive and that their stories were real. I think them getting in an accident together again would be ridiculous, but I have the feeling that netflix would turn the story in a way that all the major characters partake in it and I think that netflix having the joker as a sort of last level is quite possible.

SPOILERS now that s3 is confirmed and the joker face was a big part of the advertisement, i hope that it actually does follow the speculation theory that everyone in the hospital still in the borderlands and playing one last long game of the joker card. maybe the hospital is still not the real world but rather a fictional one created to set the players into a delusion that it is all over when it actually isn't. they have one round to play and it will be the hardest to get out of because the joker messes with their minds -- like the queen of hearts on steroids making them doubt their own reality. i honestly hope that's what they do.

Legit how I describe it it’s one of the few endings ide describe as perfect , cause for those who want it to end it’s a solid ending and wraps up the main plot. But for people like me who want the story to continue there’s so much mystery with just that one card showing at the end, I feel it’s gonna be a hallucination, they think there back in reality but are being tricked playing the jokers card also known as a trickster .

whatever they decide to make, I hope they will cut the bs in the first few episodes as we all know they are in borderland. Same as in every horror movie it takes the family 70 minutes of screen time to realise, that their house is haunted and in the last 10 minutes everyone dies. I love the idea, I travel to some real dark places similar to the ones in the series in my dreams. I'd love to see more of that than "oh hell, everybody is gone, what should we do??" for 4 episodes straight :) I absolutely love the series and hope there will be more

In season 2 we have citizens so I think in season 3 we will meet the president/king of the boorderlands. My theory is that the meteorite is a lie and it is an illusion made by the joker to trapped the characters because The best way to lock up a person is to make them believe that they are not trapped. But the protagonist realizes it and tries to escape meeting the president/king of the Borderlands: the Joker.

@raining. so much to choose from ;) I like the innocence and optimism of Tatta, so I like him. I also like Usagi with her skills and perseverance. I like also Hatter and his friend Aguni, as they have some strong characters development. Or I even Kuzuryū as he was really impactful in little screen time. But I guess I have to give it to Arisu, as I wasn't that much of a fan at first. Bur he grew to a fantastic character in my opinion.

You say luckily it dosnt show it’s a trick like that would y be the better ending 💀 ide love it if they made it where there in reality but it’s a trick for the final card, the joker is legit a trickster like why is that idea not exciting to you 😢 season 3 could dive into there personal lives and have the main characters fall into some kind of despair and crave to return to the borderlands to become master of face cards, then end the show, make it a never ending cycle of people taking over the face cards, preferably with an explination for the borderlands since in my theory it’s not really limbo. I mean the king of spades didn’t require any registration so why should the joker card?

I don't think its gonna be based off any of the manga and that its actually gonna be an original work like Sweet Home season 3 since the main cast is gonna be Arisu, Usagi, Chishiya and Niragi. The retry didnt include Chishiya and Niragi so its probably gonna be an original work but maybe they'll try to include some of the missing games that they didn't include in the manga like Chishiya's first game in Borderland (Blackjack). What I want is if they face off against Banda and Yaba since it would be nice to have a fight against these 2 psychopaths.

i have another theory chishiya before he got shot he wanted to say something but it seems that he changed his mind in another hand we did see the other two winners from prison that did try to find the truth by investigating the citizens that were missing in the scene choose to stay like they did find something + we do have some weird stuff the chipset in the mind the video that the girl said the her head was cut in half and someone was doing something yes it can be hint of what we got later on but also when you linked it with the camera stuff the people in metro station that they were watching just made me think more if joker means it is wrong answer and all of this is fake like we did see the queen messing around and creating fake spaces related to the real world eve for that naked dude he was hinting like there was no world but just a lie why the citizens chose to not to go while it is no question thing like they knew something the show was hinting that there is a lot hiding like those games that we didnt see them imagine if the options are to stay in semi alive or die and go to the borderlands like there is no such a thing like going back all of this is fake in perfect way a life in the in between while is seems real but it is not and mabe later on we get to apoint to understand the fact that the death is the only option
